Shirayuki POV:

My first Valentine's Day in Lyrias...My first Valentine's Day since I met Zen but yet, he is not here by my side. I have to focus on work, I know but being so far from him sometimes just bugs me inside.

The little 'squad' here at Lyrias was so excited for Valentine's Day even though they don't have a Valentine. So when we reached a good stopping point we went to a near by pub to eat.

Obi: Does anyone have a Valentine?

Everyone nodded no while I didn't know what to do. Am I Zen's Valentine? I guess not...! He is away, he didn't ask me but he is my boyfriend of some sort so maybe...??? I DON'T KNOW! So I just made it look like I'm too busy eating to nod.

Obi: Not even Little Ryu???

Ryu: O-Of course not!

Yuzuri: Well, last time I checked Obi doesn't have a Valentine's date either so why tease us?!

Suzu: Or he has a secret girlfriend!!

Everyone started laughing and I have to say, I love these chill days. Even though I love my work.

Yuzuri: Why are you not talking Shirayuki?

Suzu: I think you said something, Yuzuri.

Yuzuri: Th-the only time I said something that could possibly hurt her is when I thought she had a love affair with King Izana! 😖

Then I started giggling and the whole team started laughing again. Probably over Yuzuri's embarasment.

Hahaha, though me and King Izana?! Hahahaha!

I could hear Obi talking to himself saying...

Obi: Master would probably go mad if he heard that again 😂

Suzu: Ryu, have we done lots of work today?

Ryu: This past week we have been moving fast but I don't understand why the question.

Yuzuri: I was thinking of us having a day off tomorrow too!

Obi: Is all you talk about work? *sigh*

Ryu: We'll have to ask but I don't know why they would say no.

Obi: So what will you all do if you get that day off?

Suzu: Eating a nice lazy meal would be nice.

Yuzuri: Is all you think about food and work!?

Suzu: Heh...is there anything else?

Yuzuri: *face slap* At least I'd do something fun! I'd have a pic-nic all by myself and pick some flowers, maybe even make a flower crown to suit my cat ears!

Obi: You Little Master Ryuu?

Ryu: Maybe hang out with Kirito...

Shirayuki: That sounds like a good idea Ryu! You have been working so hard lately! You didn't have any time for your friend.

Ryu: Fr-friend?

Suzu: Why? Isn't he your friend?

Ryu: I guess I never thought of him that way...b-but we are friends I guess.

Yuzuri: Guys look! It's already nightfall! We should probably go.

Obi: Well, Valentine's day went by fast!

Shirayuki: I guess so!

Obi: Should I walk Mistress to her room?

Shirayuki: No thanks. I can go by myself. Goodnight Obi!

Obi: Don't forget to go to the left since that is now your room!

Shirayuki: Oh yeah! I forgot that we got seperate rooms now. Thanks Obi!

I went to my room, put my sleeping outfit, got a nice warm shower and went to bed while looking at the clock Zen gave me.

Shirayuki: Happy Valentine's Day, Zen, my Prince Charming...

I said as I dozed of to dream land.

Obi POV:

I saw the front gates open up.

Obi: I wonder who can it be so late at night and why did they let them in?

I heard horse foot steps and saw a familiar white haired royal, with a blue haired protective attendant and a beautiful blonde lady if I say so myself!

Obi: Master, Mister Mitsuhide, Miss Kiki!!! Up here!!!

I said as they looked up at the walls.

Mitsuhide: Hello Obi!

I jumped down like I was lightning and helped Master tie his horse down.

Obi: So...are you here to see Mistress for Valentine's Day?

Zen: Maybe.......

Obi: Oh don't worry, Master! I held back from making myself her Valentine!

Zen: Obi....😑

OH NO THAT BLACK AURA!!! FIX FIX FIXXXX!

Obi: Master don't be so serious I was joking, you know?! Anyways I know that you and Mistress are perfect for each other. 😉

And with that I think Master had enough of me making him blush with thoughts about Mistress and ran off.

Obi: Mistress is at the right wing at the left!!!

I sort of pitty myself, my 19 year old Master has a girlfriend and I ( Obi is 21 years old I found out in the wikipedia ) am still a single messenger.

( Lol! You heard him girls! Obi was l👀king for someone at Valentine's Day! Who wants to be his late Valentine??? )

Shirayuki POV:

I felts to warm hands on my forehead, massaging it. The name I said after just came out unexpectingly.

Shirayuki: ...Zen...

Zen: Happy Valentine's day, my love.

I opened my eyes and my gaze fell on the clock.

Shirayuki: It's actually 12:00 pm.

Zen: Will you be my after-Valentine?

Shirayuki: *giggles* That doesn't exist!

Zen: I love you so much that I'll invent it.

Shirayuki: Then, yes, I'll be your after-Valentine.

Zen: ...Zzzzz...

Shirayuki: Hm?!

H-He slept on m-me? He must be tired from his long journey. He did try to make it on time for Valentine's day after all. At least we'll always have our after-Valentine's day. I can't wait to spend the whole tomorrow with him. 😍

( So....just think that I'm the late Zen who was late to come on Valentine's Day or should I say post a chapter on Valentine's Day. But I ignored my super easy home work and did this for 1,5 hours!

I have a head ache 😩 and I'm sleepy for some weird reason, like Zen, but I posted! Finally!
