I waited nervouslyoutside of Judy's room. The doctor hadn't come out yet. He was taking longer than last time. He finally came out.
"We'll I have good news and bad news." The doctor siad.
"Well? What's the news?" I asked impatiently.
"The bad news is she's running a fever that is unstable high that there's a good chance of....d-death. " the doctor siad sadly.
I shook my head I had just gotten her back , I couldn't lose her agian.
"The good news is she's doing well she's fighting it off. Her temperature gose down every five minutes by ten." The doctor finished.
"What's her tep at the moment sir? " I asked worriedly.
"One hundred twenty-three." The doctor siad.
"ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE?!!?!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry sir but it's going down quickly. When she arrived her temperature was two hundred five. I'm surprised she isn't dead. I'll let you see her now . You have half an hour befor we close." The doctor siad. He walcked away and I hurried into the room. Judywas living in a bed hooked up to a dozen machines.
I quietly sat down at the foot of her bed and held her paw.
"I'm sorry Judy. None of this would have happened if it weren't for me. Please get better. I can't go on with out you. I love you to much. Please don't leave me. I can't lose you agian. " I told her.
