**Elena's POV**

I must've taken a nap because I'm violently woken up by a hit to my gut. I feel as though I'm about to throw up as I gasp for air.

I look up at the tall figure.

"Daniel," I look into the eyes of the devil.

"Wake up." He hits me again.

"What the fuck," I move my tied wrists. "Let me go!"

"No. Not a chance. Not ever. You're mine now and forever and you'll never see Eric or your children again subjecting them all to a life of grieving over you, if you're lucky." He smiles revealing his perfect teeth.

"You're a psychopath!" I struggle to break free but there's no use. "Eric will find me, he'll always find me!"

"I doubt it. Especially seeing that video of you two at work the other day. I knew the right time was now." Daniel smirks.

I shake my head. "Eric is the leader, I-I disrespected him, but he'll come look for me!" I say with confidence.

"Sure. It's a good thing I swiped all the security footage." He crosses his arms over his chest.

Shit. "What the fuck do you want from me anyways?"

He moves so he's inches from my face. "Isn't it obvious? I want to make you life hell."

"What did I ever do to you?" I spit.

"It's not what you did. It's that you're so important to Eric. You're the perfect way to get at him."

"You're fucking pathetic," I shout at him. "What the hell are you going to do keep me tied up for the rest of my life? To rot here?!"

"Basically. If you're lucky, that is." He shrugs. "You see, Janine and I were looking to study on you new, effective ways to torture prisoners. You're going to be our test subject." Daniel smiles and puts his arm around a blonde woman who appears out of the darkness next to him.

"Get away from me. You're not going to get away with this," fear running ramped in my mind.

Jeanine pulls out a box of instruments and opens it up, metal knives and hooks filling the slots.

"Get those away from me," I struggle even more.

"There's no escaping, Elena. Just give up your hope now and surrender."

I shake my head violently. Jeanine shrugs as she pulls out a small knife. She digs it deep into the skin on my cheek, I can feel the blood pouring down to my neck. I scream so loud in pain.

"No one can hear you darling," Jeanine says cutting even deeper.

"Stop!" I scream.

She walks around the pole and I can feel her grabbing my hand, she pulls a finger breaking it. Crack.

"What about these fingernails honey?" Jeanine asks and Daniel gives her a sly smile.

I feel something clamp onto my fingernail and pull, my finger nail ripped from my finger. Sobs, tears running down my cheek.

She walks back around to face me. She pulls out something new from the box, a knife. "You know there's an area right here," she points, "that you can stab or shoot and it's a clean hit, it won't kill you, but it certainly will hurt. She rams the knife into the spot and pulls out. I feel the blood draining from my body.

"That is if you don't bleed out," Jeanine smirks. "I think we're done for today, I'll see you tomorrow."

They both left and I scream out in pain until i feel as if I'm completely drained.

I'm pretty sure it's a new day. Question is how long have I really been here? Is anyone looks for me? And, am I going to survive to see my children again?

****ERIC'S POV****

Flint woke me up sometime in the afternoon to tell me he didn't find any surveillance. Everything was locked down. He couldn't even get into Daniel's files, he said he'd try again but I was getting increasingly more frustrated.

"Don't bother." I huff and clap my hand on his shoulder. "I'm going to confront him."

I exit Flint's place and make my way to the hospital. I don't bother to ask where Daniel is when I can hear his fakely-pleasant voice. "Have you seen Elena?" I grab him by the front of the shirt and pull him close.

"Yes I have," he smiles and pulls out his phone. It's a video of me grabbing Elena's wrists the other day. "But that's not what you meant, was it?" He cocks his head.

"So you have seen her today?"

"I haven't seen your lovely wife since we fucked."

"Your face has never looked better." I smile at his still-fucked nose.

"Thank you," he smiles. "I have always been the handsome brother...then Flint, then you."

"Would you like me to refresh your memory of what I'm actually alluding to?"

"No need little brother. I haven't seen Elena, maybe you should keep better tabs on her."

"Not what I meant at all. I just was talking about your broken nose and how terrible you still look. I said nothing more about my wife, but now I have reason to believe the opposite of what you're saying."

"Why would I have anything to do with the disappearance of your wife? I have one of my own now you know."

"And that's suppose to convince me you're done toying with mine? If you're done then why even release the video of Audrey? Why even bring that up if you're so content with your own wife and done meddling in my life?"

"I released that video for my own pleasure, which it was indeed--my own pleasure. Although I can't tell which girl I like more? Maybe Elena."

"Neither of them certainly will have you again." I roll my eyes. "So it doesn't matter."

"One of them is dead, that does reduce my probability. Elena is still alive though--hopefully. Can't you still hear her delightful moans from when I--"

"Enough." I growl. "You're wasting my time and clearly hiding something. You're messing around here if your own game and I'm done talking to you. I'm going back to my children." I cross my arms.

"Eric," he calls out. "Maybe when you get home the children will be gone. Maybe she left you. Ever think about that?"

I chuckle. "Thanks Daniel!" I wave at him and smile before continuing on my way. Daniel clearly wasn't getting me anywhere.
