Last Days (Shownu x Reader)

A/N: Okay! I'm using this new song of Monsta X because I think it really fits the story that I wrote. I hope you guys enjoy this and I apologize for updating really late. I've been busy lately and not in the mood to write. I'm really really sorry.

You've been having bruises around your body lately, at first you didn't got worried about it because you've been going to your boyfriend's concert and fan meeting a lot. It kind of make sense that you can have bruises since sometimes the girls will accidentally push you or that the saesang fans will deliberately hurt you knowing you're the girlfriend of Shownu's Monsta X but this time its making you worried.

You've been home a lot recently because you can't meet with Shownu and that he told you to stay home and just wait for him to visit because he doesn't want you to get hurt anymore but the bruises just kept on appearing, plus the fact that you're always burning up even though you don't have the fever. Which made you're mom worry, making the both of you go to the doctor for check up last week and now on the way again to get the results of the test.

"Mom... I'm kind of scared..." you told your mom in the car as she drives.

She smiled warmly at you, "Let's just think of positive things, Arasso?" she said as she continued to drive.

You just nod and thought of texting Hyunwoo, about the fact that you're on the hospital for results and that you went last week for the check up but you decided against it. You don't want him to worry about anything right especially they have their comeback.

"Ms. (l/n) !" you heard the nurse called you from the waiting area, both you and your mom went inside your doctor's office nervous and worried.

As you sit on the chair in front of your mom, your doctor's face turned serious.

"Hello. Ms. (l/n) and Mrs. (l/n)" she said.

"Hi doc." you said worry adamant on your voice.

The doctor sighed as she said, "I will be straight to both of you..."

You held your breath as she continued, "You have a cancer, Ms. (l/n)... and it's in stage 4..."

You didn't know what to say, you were shocked to hear the results. You heard your mom spoke up with a broken voice, trying not to cry. "D-doc... what can we do?"

"We can do a chemotherapy but there's only 27% chance of killing the cancer cells because it's already on the last stage. I'm really sorry to say this but your days is already numbered ms. (l/n). You only have 2 weeks at least and a month at most."

When you heard what she said, everything suddenly stopped for you. You don't know how to react when you know you'll die slowly, even with the chemo. You don't know what to say to your friends and especially to Shownu.

You snapped out of trance when you heard your mom speak again, "Let's do the chemo even if there's only 28% chance..."

"Mom...no... i don't want to spend my last days in the hospital..." you told your mom as you held her hands. She looked at you with broken eyes and was about to convince you but you continued speaking, "Mom... please?" As if understanding you, she nods and smiled sadly at you.

When both you and your mom arrived at home, no one spoke. Your mom just quietly prepared dinner as you went to your room to take everything in. As soon as you closed the door to your room, you started to cry. Having a disease and knowing how long you still have to live is really a lot to take in, you don't know what to do but just cry your eyes out in your room.
