CHAPTER 1

"Cheska!!!" Someone was calling to the young lady who was walking alone in the corridor. Echoes followed as the young lad ran after her. She turned around and saw him. She smiled as a greeting and asked for his purpose. He gave a deep breath just to catch his breath before saying, "You left your phone again"
"oh my! Thank you so much" she said gratefully to him. She grabbed her phone and immediately checked for any messages. The man noticed her expression of anticipation. "Waiting for someone?" She shook her head and gave a small smile. She didn't want him to worry. It was nothing new as it was the same habit that happens to her. This time on the other hand, she just hoped the outcome was different. She bid her good bye to him and proceeded to her way.

It was a long day from work. She could finally think what was coming to her. She sprinted out of her workplace and went somewhere. She did message the man about her coming. But her phone was silent as night. She didn't hesitate anymore.
She entered to a huge building; took the elevator and double checked her phone for any response. Every floor, her anxiety increased. As she was in the floor, she held her phone to call.
It rang. It felt centuries but still she was left hanging. She put a deep breath as she was in front of a door. It was a simple door. No glass upfront. But she could hear someone in the room. She knocked lightly. But no one heard her.
She slowly entered the room. Hoping not to disturb, if there was a meeting. She was surprise when she saw someone was on top of a man.
"Louis?" She called out with such soft voice. She was quivering. She accidentally toppled the chair that was near the door. All eyes were at her.
"Who is she babe?" The beautiful young lady said. She clung to him as if protecting what was hers. Cheska couldn't take her eyes off her.
"Cheska..." he called her name plainly. It was as if he was not at fault. "You weren't answering me" she stepped back, "I guess I was mistaken again" she couldn't stop herself from crying. They were surprise. She turned around. "I let you be... but never ever contact me as I do the same" she said as she threw away a ring to the floor.
