Me: not exactly, fandoms are the people who like the same books and movies, they are the ones who create fanart, fanfiction, and the like
Veronica: Oh, I get it, can people have more than one fandom?
Me: definitely! I'm in several: Star Wars, Harry Potter, Hamilton, and a few bandoms

Me: People have separate fandoms for a band or singer they like
Veronica: oh okay, so fandoms are for books and movies, and bandoms are for bands and singers
Me:: that's it!
