"So kelan na tayo ikakasal?" Richard asked while he was calmly sipping his cup of coffee.

Napatalon ako. Susmaryosep. 'Wag kang ganyan. Marupok ako.

"After na lang ng case mo kay Erika Rivera. Para wala ka nang masyadong inaasikaso." his Dad told him.

Na magiging Dad ko na din. I cannot believe it. Para akong sinilaban sa upuan ko at hindi ako mapakali.

Bakit siya pumayag? Bakit kalmado lang siya? Bakit hindi man lang siya nagtanong kung bakit biglaan? Bakit kinikilig ako?

"I'm going to pass that case to Kristoffer. Masyado na siyang demanding na makipagmeet whenever she has time. And hindi naman talaga malaking case 'yun. Kris will handle that around 1 week or so."

Bakit kalmadong kalmado siya habang nakikipag-usap tungkol sa kasal? Baka mamaya magalit lang 'to pag wala na ang mga magulang namin tapos sa akin sisihin ang lahat? My mood started to drop. Lumabi ako.

"Meng," tinawag ako ni Richard. "So kelan na nga?" he smirked.

"Ano... kasi.... uhm...." nauutal ako. Nakng! "Bahala ka..."

"Pwede na ba pag sinabi kong next week?"

NEXT WEEK?! SUSMARYOSEP TEKA LANG NEXT WEEK NA AGAD AGAD. READY NA BA AKO? SYEMPRE READY NA AKO PERO NEXT WEEK?!

"Kulang preparations for 1 week lang, 'nak." Nanay told Richard.

"I agree." sabi naman ni Tatay, also sipping his coffee while reading a newspaper. "Let's give it a month or so. Maganda din 'tong way para mapaghandaan lahat. And just to ask you, Ricardo, is it possible to make their assets conjugal as soon as possible?"

Tumingin ako kay Richard. He's also looking at me, memorizing every detail of my off-guarded expression. He smirked.n

He knows what I feel for him. Hindi ko man tinatago, hindi ko rin direktahang sinasabi. All I know is that alam na niya, college pa lang kami.

"Then, you have to be with me every hour of the day, Maine. Can you promise me that?"
