*Chara's POV*

I was extremely on edge because of this whole scenario, but I thought it would be best to try and put it in the back of my mind. But no matter how hard I tried, I always remembered that he is constantly watching us. I kept glancing over at Frisk, glad that he wasn't fully aware of what was happening this time. I was walking behind frisk lost in thought.

This whole scenario wasn't the only thing that was on my mind. I couldn't keep my brain on track as so many memories started to flood through my head.  Some about my life before I feel, others involving the Dreemurrs. But there were some that seemed to stick longer than others, the ones from when I was a ghost, stuck following all the other humans, or wandering around in a pitch black void.

I was back to when when I was getting used to being a ghost. I spent most of my time in the Ruins, since it made me feel the closest to living as possible. But one day a human fell down onto the patch of golden flowers. I knew they couldn't directly see me, but it seemed as if they were at least aware that I was watching them. They were a small little girl, and I saw that they were constantly afraid. I realised that a decent amount of time must f passed since I fell, since the child had absolutely no combat skills. It was obvious because they kept clutching their toy knife as if it would actually help. But they took their time with everyone, so I decided to call them Patience. Sadly that is what got them killed. They took too much time with everyone and everything that they couldn't act fast enough to protect themselves.

So after that I went back to the Ruins. I wanted to get rid of the memories of Patience, but it wouldn't last long. Another human fell, but they were different. They weren't as delicate as the other one. They ran into things and never looked back. But they didn't get as far. They were so reckless that the couldn't get past all the puzzles that the Underground had to offer. but despite this they were brave enough to risk everything, so I named the Bravery.

So with this I realised there always seemed to be a human falling down, so I went back to the ruins, waiting for the next to fall down. And sure enough another one did. They moved gracefully, and put all that they had into everything they did. In fact, they never actually left the Ruins. They were perfectly fine in living their life with Toriel. They knew it was best, and they never doubted it, so I named them Integrity. But one day, they wished to explore more, and that was their downfall. They got all the way to Waterfall, but sadly they trusted everyone too much and so they died from being betrayed.

So once I again, I returned to the Ruins, but noticed that the Monsters had begun to get more hope, seeing as each child they were closer to the freedom they wanted so much. A decent amount of time passed before the next fell. They were a special kind of child as well. they were reckless, and they by far weren't perfect. But no matter what they did they managed to get past their issues. they wrote everything down in hopes of being able to relive their tale, but they got so involved they didn't see far enough ahead to see their fate. So I figured to call them Perseverance.

The ruins wasn't empty for long, as almost instantly, the sixth human fell. They never harmed a soul as long as they were down here, and in fact many liked this child. The warmth that they showed reminded me of what I was beginning to lose. So in respect, I named them kindness. but they met the same demise as Integrity, as they were killed by someone they trusted too much. I started to find more and more enjoyment when the humans died. I realised that this was all just a game, and waited for the game to finally reach an end. An end that was only when the Barrier was finally broken down.

Finally, after what seemed to be forever, the seventh human fell. I couldn't help but notice how they decided on what to kill. they only killed those that had done wrong or deserved to die. but then they also gave more to those that deserved more. I named them Justice, and watched them fight till they couldn't fight anymore. I laughed as they struggled against Asgore, the only enemy that they couldn't defeat. I felt a fire burn inside me, that no matter what, I will be the ultimate victor in this game, that I would defeat everyone and destroy everything. not just the Barrier, not just the Underground, but everything that existed.

But then the eighth human fell. And they never hurt anyone, no matter how much they hurt. but I began to notice something strange. they were like me when I first fell. They were so determined to live that they couldn't die. They made me realise I was now the polar opposite of what I was once was. And so I named them determination, and surely they beat the game.

But when they freed everyone, I finally learned their name, Frisk. Out of all the humans, Frisk was the only I actually knew the name of. And then they acknowledged me, and I was stunned. They knew that I was there the entire time, and they actually thanked me. thanked me for always being by them, so that no matter what they never felt alone. And that was when I began to warm up, and even started to feel as if I could be welcomed back. But I thought I would never fully be back, now that I was dead, I had nowhere to return to. until they freed me from my prison.

And here we are now, trying to free everyone once again. I chuckled and said, "you never give up do you Frisk? But then again that's why I fell for you. You did the impossible, and made it look easy too." I didn't care of they heard me, if everyone heard me. Just because it was the truest words I had ever spoken before.

"Chara, where did that come from?" I looked over to see Frisk blushing and everyone else just staring at me.

"Oh nothing, just reliving some old memories. But at least I finally said just the truth, no lies or avoidance." I laughed again and dragged Frisk after me. "Come on we got a date to go on soon!"

And so I rushed to get to Hotlands, cause there was a few places I wanted to visit.
