“Wow!” Diadem exclaimed in appreciation. The view that greeted her eyes when they come out of the elevator was spectacular.They were on the penthouse of the Temptress Hotel.

Excited na naglakad siya sa paligid. She could see the clear sky. Mainit ang sikat ng araw at maliwanag ang kapaligiran.The penthouse was a wide, open space intricately landscaped to look like an outdoor garden. There was a cute and lovely gazebo in one corner, an outdoor dining set and an outdoor couch. Sa gilid ay ang parang isang bachelor’s pad. And she gasped as she saw a hanging swimming pool enclosed in a super, clear glass, a quarter portion of it was protruding on the edge of the building. Nalula siya sa ganda ng lugar. She could see the horizon where the clear sky and the blue ocean met.

“It’s amazing here, Rohan,” she exclaimed in excitement as her eyes surveyed every details of the place.

“I’m glad you like it here…” Rohan muttered, his hands in his pockets.

“Of course! Who won’t?” she answered in ardent eyes.

“This is my place. This is where I stay in Temptress Hotel and Resort…” anito habang nakangiting pinanood siya.

“Cool! You’ve got a nice place in here, Rohan…” She was simply impressed. “This is brilliant idea…”

“Thanks!” He sounded pleased. “Come here, while we wait for our food.” Nagpatiuna itong maglakad palapit sa nakikita niyang outdoor dining set. It had a very wide umbrella that blocks the heat of the sun.

Sumunod siya kay Rohan. She wasn’t expecting that he would bring her in this beautiful place. He owned the penthouse unit of the Temptress Hotel and she felt special. Hindi siya dadalhin ni Rohan sa lugar na ito kung hindi siya nito itinuturing na espesyal. Bigla siyang kinilig sa naisip na iyon.

“You sit here,” iminosyon nito ang bakanteng bakal na upuan, “it won’t take long and our food will arrive.”

“Thanks,” she sheepishly smiled at him and occupied the seat he gestured. Umupo ito sa katabi niyang upuan. “Thanks for bringing me here, Rohan,” kaagad na sabi niya nang makaupo na siya. “Really, this place is so beautiful.”

Ngumiti lamang ito. He had a boyish smile and good dentures. Nagto-toothbrush siguro ito palagi, she smiled at the thought. Maputi at kumikinang kasi ang mga ngipin nito. Well, that was great! She wouldn’t mind kissing him. Mas lalong lumapad ang ngiti niya sa naisip.

“You know what,” he cleared his throat, “you have a great smile. I think you should smile often…”

“Thank you!” Her sweet smile widened even more. Aba eh kung ang lalaking pinapangarap ba naman niya ang kaharap niya, kahit mangalay na ang mga labi niya sa kakangiti, okay lang. “Binobola mo lang yata ako eh.” She flipped her hair. Siyempre, kailangan din niyang magpakipot.

His amused smile vibrated in his throat. In fairness, sexy ito kung tumawa. Unlike Judas. Well, you haven’t seen him laugh yet, a tiny voice in her mind insisted. Inirapan niya sa utak niya si Hudas. She didn’t need to see him laugh. She wasn’t interested anyway.
