Chapter 4

~A few hours later~

A groan/meow echos through the room as Sonic being to wake up. Sonic groans and rubs his eyes as he looks about the room. His eyes landed on an sleeping Yami. He jumps off the table and slowly makes his way over to Yami

Yami's ears twitches and Sonic stops for a second and watches Yami. After a few minutes he sneakily and quietly gets pass Yami and heads out the door. He looks around and heads off to find the exit

Suddenly alarms started going off and footsteps could be heard as Sonic growls as he runs faster but he then stops when robots appears in front of him and he growls again and the robots attacks him

Sonic sighs as he curls up and spindash attacks the robots and destroyed them. He was then hit in the back and grunts in pain as he glares and destroyed the robot that hit him. Sonic dust himself off and took off again, he was panting a bit

Sonic escaped Eggman's base as he headed towards the city but was panting heavily. His back was injuries badly and he was losing alot of blood. Sonic groans and leans again an alleyway wall and his eyes become blurry

Sonic's eyes rolls into his head as he falls to the ground and fall unconscious as he whimpers loudly in pain since he landed on his back. As Sonic falls unconscious a black and red hedgehog was nearby, about to pass the alleyway when he heard the pained whimper

The black and red hedgehog who named was Shadow, his ears perked up hearing the whimper and slightly walks into the alleyway and hears the whimper again and that's when he spots Sonic and walks over to him

He realized it was his rival Sonic," Hey, Sonic!" He said but all he got was another whimper. Shadow sighs and gives a worried look as he gently picks up Sonic. Sonic whimpers and curls up in Shadow's arms. Shadow grunts a bit and heads to his house so he could treat Sonic's wounds up

Shadow looks at Sonic and notice the change in him as he gives a curious look," Wonder what happened to you, faker." He mumbles as he skated off to his house
