The Failed Experiment

Chapter 14

Shadow and Sonic had finally gotten home. Shadow walks into the living room and sits Sonic on the couch and go get medical kit. He then comes back and start patching up any wound on Sonic. Sonic was fast asleep on the couch, his cat ears lightly twitching

'Need to call Tails to see if he found a way to change Sonic back.' Shadow thought to himself as he finished patching himself up. He then gets a blanket and puts it over Sonic and kiss his cheek. Shadow blushes a bit and then sits next to Sonic and relaxes a bit

Shadow stands up and stretches," Guess I'll call Tails while Sonic rest." He said as he pats Sonic head and leaves the room. Sonic smiles and keeps sleeping. Picks up the phone and calls Tails. He hums as he waits for Tails to pick up

"Hello?" Tails asked as he tiltes his head. "It's me, Shadow, Tails." He said as Tails nods but Shadow couldn't see it. "What is it you need, Shadow?" He asked curiously," Just to see if you found a way to change Sonic back?" He asked as Tails sighs through the phone

"Sorry, but no. I can't figure out what Eggman did to him." He said with another sigh," And Sonic might be stuck like that forever." Tails said. Shadow nods and frowns a bit," It's fine, Tails. You tried your best." Tails smiles a bit," Yeah, but I'll keep trying, for Sonic." He said. "Alright then, call you later." He said as they both hang up their phones

Shadow sighs and runs his hands through his quills as he then heads back into the living room and sees Sonic was awoke now. Shadow smiles as he sits down and nuzzles Sonic. Sonic smiles and purrs as he nuzzles back

"Feeling better?" He asked as Sonic nods," Good" Shadow said as he leans down and kisses Sonic. Sonic squeaks and blushes as he then kisses back. Sonic purrs into the kiss and wags his tail. Shade smirks as he licks Sonic's lips, asking for entrance. Sonic blushes more and opens his mouth up some

Shadow thrusts his tongue into Sonic's mouth and licks around, purring as he does. Sonic blushes deeply as he moans and purrs softly into the kiss. After a few minutes of making out, they finally pulls away for air, both blushing and panting for air

Sonic's stomach then rumbles, showing he was hungry. Shadow chuckles and shakes his head as Sonic rubs the back of his head. "I know of a cafe we can go to, to get something to eat." Shadow offers. Sonic blushes and smirks a bit," Oh? Are you asking me on a date?" He asked as he tiltes his head

Shadow blushes and nods," Yeah am I. So do you accept?" He asked as Sonic smiles and giggles and nods," Sure do!" He said as Shadow smile. Shadow takes Sonic's hand and they both leaves Shadow's house. They then took off in a red and blue blur, both heading straight to the city

Sonic and Shadow both race through the city until they both finally arrives at the cafe that Shadow was talking about. They both head inside and takes their seats as they order their food. Shadow smiles and purrs as he nuzzles Sonic as they wait for their food to come. Sonic nuzzles back, they both ignoring the stares they were getting from the other mobians in the cafe

They then pulls away from each other and starts to happily talk to each other, getting to know each more. Then their food came as they stopped talking and eats their food. After a while they both finished eating their food

Sonic rubs his belly and smiles as he finished eating. Shadow chuckles as he was done eating too. "Full?" He asked as Sonic nods," Alright then." Shadow said as he pays for their food and leaves the cafe and heads to back home

They both quickly made it home and heads to Shadow's room as they both lay in bed and relaxes, both cuddling each other and purring. Shadow smiles as he looks at Sonic,'So cute.' He thought as he kiss Sonic's cheek," I love you." He said with an happy purr and Sonic giggles

Sonic blushes and pecks Shadow's on the lips as his tail twitches," Love you too, Shadow." He said as he purrs loudly and lays his head on Shadow's chest, nuzzling his chest fur. Shadow smiles and purrs as they continue to lay in bed and cuddle with each other
