Chapter 8

~Next Day~

Shadow wakes up with a quiet groan and yawns as he rubs his eye as he looks around when he feel something nuzzling his side and looks down and see it was Sonic. Shadow blushes and then smiles and pets Sonic's quill and he purrs softly," Heh, cute." He mumbles as he slowly gets up, making sure he doesn't wake up Sonic as he stretches and them heads into the kitchen to make breakfast for him and Sonic

Sonic's nose twitches as he smells something cooking and woke up with a yawn and gets up and heads into the kitchen. And sees Shadow was cooking," Whatcha, cooking?" He asked with a yawn as he sits at the table that was in the kitchen.

Shadow looks at Sonic and then back at the oven," Some, pancakes." He said as Sonic nods and sits at the table that was in the kitchen. After about 15 minutes and Shadow finished cooking and makes him and Sonic plates and then sits at the table and hands Sonic his plate of pancakes

Sonic smiles happily as he put syrup on his pancakes and then starts eating. Shadow did the same things and being to eat. 30 minutes later and both if them finished eating and then heads into the living room and relaxes. Shadow reads a book with Sonic laying against him while watching some tv as they wait for Tails to come

~Two hours later~

Their was a knock at the door and Shadow got up and went to answer it," Yes?" He asked as he opens the door. A two tailed yellow fox was standing in front of Shadow," Hey, Shadow!" The fox said smiling as he looks up at Shadow. Shadow nods," Hey, Tails." He said as he moves out of the way so Tails could come in. Tails smiles and waves his tails around as he walks inside and their both then heads into the living room
