"Who are you?!" Nick said playfully.

Adalind and Lena both stuck their tongues out at Nick which made him chuckle.

"When do we eat? " He said rubbing his hands together.

"As soon as you get to the table and you must wash your hands." Adalind ordered.

Lena grinned and heard a knock on the door. Nick started to get it but Lena bumped him aside.

"You! Go wash your hands before Adalind yells at you. "
She opened the door to see a package sitting on the front step.

The top was full of holes and a delivery slip. It read:

To Detective Nicholas Burkhardt.

There was no sign where it came from. She picked it up and went to the living room where she called everyone to come.

Nick who just finished washing his hands said "What's in it? "

"How am I supposed to know? " Lena retorted.

She changed and sliced the tape then opened it carefully.

Adalind and Nick looked worried until Lena let out a big

"Awwww!"

In the box was a black puppy with silver eyes. Lena scooped it up and cuddled it.

"Can we keep it?" She pleaded Nick staring at him with huge gold eyes.

"Adalind? What do you think?" Nick asked.

"Can I hold it?" Adalind replied. She then flipped the puppy upside down quickly before turning the puppy right side up.

"I think we should keep her Nick."
