Party
I made my way on stage, as I saw a couple of familiar faces that I saw in the magazines, back at home. I had to do this, this was my way to move out to this city and make a better life for myself. I grabbed the mic and said my prayer as well. I began once the lights were on me:

[Interlude]
"If I knew I was wastin' my time
Wouldn't of wasted my time
With all these shoulda coulda wouldas
I'm in her ear one time
Tryna tell her how I rhyme
She heard it all
I know she heard it all
Girl I can change your life
But you heard it all
But you heard it all
I'm from the city
Where you ain't gotta love to love
You ain't gotta love to fuck
Girl, I'm just tryna say
I'm from the city
So don't believe what they say
Just believe what they do to ya
You can't tell these bitches nothing
She belongs to the city
They gone, they gone, they gone
They was lookin' for nothing (somethin')
She belongs to the city
(Yeah you know)" ©.

I saw the shawty who came into the dressing room, swaying her hips to my lyrics. I took my focus off her and saw the other females in the room doing it also. I didn't know my shit was like this. I even saw The Weekend vibin' to it while grabbing on Selena. As my track and the lights faded out, I began to make my way off the stage. All I heard were claps and whistles. It was just a little demo song I made back in college. This made me feel good. I snapped out of my thoughts and exited the stage.

Gia
"I didn't think his shit would be like that!" I screamed over the Travis Scott mixtape to Liya "Me either, I haven't heard music like that in a while, makes me want to go half on a baby" she stuck her tongue out. I walked away from her craziness and accidentally bumped into someone. "Sorry ma" once I heard that sweet Brooklyn accent, I knew it was my baby Nav.

"Nav" I squealed, I haven't seen him in a hot minute. I
"Wassup baby" Nav smiled, we chatted for a few. Nav and I go way back. We grew up together in Flatbush, Brooklyn.
He's always been my little boo, but it would never work out.
"same old, same old" I giggled "put your number in my phone, I gotta go handlebars some business" Nav said while licking his lips. I gave him my number and walked away.

His sweet Brooklyn accent is what made me fall in love with him.He always looked like he stepped out of B.I.G's music videos. Talking to him made me forget all about my encounter with party, until he approached me.....
