Nolan's POV
"Happy six months!" I exclaim as Lia opens her front door.
"Happy six months," she says before giving me a peck.
I hand her some flowers I bought and a paper bag from Taco Bell.
"Thank you, come in, come in," she says gloating. We go to the dining room and I see that she has set up Netflix on her laptop on the table. Snacks and drinks are scattered on it as well together with two wrapped gifts, a small one and a bigger one. As we settle in the comfy chairs she hands me the gifts.
"I'm intrigued, Lia," I say as I rip off the wrapping paper. "New guitar strings and a maroon hoodie, awh thank you, babe."
"You're very welcome," she kisses me. "I kinda owed you one after stealing like four of yours."
"Don't remind me, they have sentimental value," I say, scoffing.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. I'll take good care of them," she assures me.
"What shall we watch?" I ask, scrolling through Netflix.
"The Holiday!" I suggests enthusiastically.
"It's like mid-April," I point out.
"So?" she asks as I click on the movie.
"Okay, fine. I'll pick the next one, though," I negotiate.
"Deal."
