Today, you and Ace were going to the drive-in for a date. The two of you haven't had a proper date since you've been busy. You wore a white tank top with some jeans and converse as your hair was up in a ponytail. As you waited for Ace to pick you up, you were watching (Y/F/S), which is a show that you've been into for a long time. While you were watching (Y/F/S), your phone vibrated for a brief second. You looked, and you got a text from Ace.

Hey, babe, my mother wanted me to get a few things at the store, so I might be running a little late. I love you.

You sighed and replied. I'll be waiting. I love you, too, Ace.

You put your phone to the side and watched television. Fifteen minutes have passed, and Ace finally arrived. You heard his signature knock as you put your jacket on. Once you opened the door, a smirk came on his face. "Hey, you ready?" he asked. You nodded. Once you said goodbye to your parents, you went into Ace's car. Once you got to the drive-in, you and Ace got some snacks. You sat in one of the seats they had. This night was peaceful, but perfect. After the movie they've shown at the drive-in, Ace drove you home. He took you to the door moments later. "I had a wonderful time tonight, Ace," you said. "Me too, babe," he said. You both smiled. "I should head out. I'll call you tomorrow?" he asked. "Yeah," you said as he smiled. He gave you a soft kiss. "Goodnight, love," he said. "Goodnight," you replied. This was the best night ever.
