And with that Alec was gone...at least he thought he would be
He couldn't stop looking at how she looked and how he could never be with her

It was silent for a few moments when we first got there.
"Can I atleast get the annual halloween dance with you?" Haiden shyly asked
Ryan giggled as she nodded. Suddenly, he pulls his phone out of his Referee costume and starts playing a Halloween slow music.
He grabs her waist as she gently puts her arms around his neck. They twirled and pranced around the courtyard, sharing a laugh of what Haiden had whispered in her ear.
Out of nowhere Haiden placed his lips on Ryan's, she felt guilt build up in her stomach, but never pulled away or stopped him.
They pulled away looking into each others eyes.
"I should be heading out, I'm sure Cam is worried." Ryan managed to rush out as she grabbed her phone to call Cam."
"Hey Ry!"
"Um, hi. Could you come get me from the courtyard"
"I thought you got a ride from Alec!" Camryn loudly said through the phone.
It sure did catch Haiden's attention. Ryan awkwardly turned around and whispered in the phone for Cam to keep it down.
"I'll be there soon, Ry." Camryn tiredly said through the phone
"You know what, forget it. I'll just Uber home."
After a few seconds of Cam reassuring, they both had ended the call.
"Everything okay?" Haiden asked
"Yea I'm just gonna call an Uber." Ryan answered as she opened the app
"Nah, you shouldn't, I'll drive you."
"Ya sure?"
"Mhm." and with that they both jumped in Haiden's car
By this time Alec was already down the block SO angry at himself for letting a beauty get away
He needed time to himself for a bit.
-Haiden's Car-
They were driving down a dark road in silence.
"Pass me the aux cord." Ryan said as she broke the silence as she held her hand out
Haiden opened the console of the car and tried to grab the aux cord which ended up falling anyway towards the gas pedal, right next to Haiden's foot. He reached down to grab it while trying to pay attention to the road.
"Let me just get it." Ryan demanded
"Nope, I got it." Haiden said while him and Ryan both stuck their hands near the brake and gas pedal. They both pretty much played tug-a-war with the aux word.
Haiden's eyes left the road for approximately 3 seconds
