well
hello again,
i do believe.
many things have changed.
(but really, when aren't things changing?)
i realized in this absence
that loving an idea of someone
is not loving them.
but loving someone seems like a good idea
i just have to wait
and waiting is hard,
but i've been told

the wait is worth it.
but,
ideas are hard not to love.
they can be perfect,

they become what you want them to be,
because, in all reality,
they are just ideas.

they aren't people with emotions,
with heart and soul,
with thoughts and other things,
because they are a thought.
and as great as it might sound,

you can love it,

but it can NOT love you.
