Stiles felt his stomach burning and his eyes shot open his body trembling from the pain. Standing over him was Galaxy and ten other fairies he didn't recognize. His eyes flew around the room looking for a familiar face but Derek was no where in sight. Stiles tried to move but Galaxy scolded him holding him down.

Four other fairies hovered over Stiles each one of them concentrated on their chant. Stiles sucked in a sharp breath and grabbed onto Galaxy's arm letting out a loud whimper. He squeezed his eyes shut and bit his lip the pain still there.

The burning sensation in his stomach was subsiding and he could feel his body healing as the fairies continued with their magic. Stiles shut his eyes again holding his breath unintentionally. Their chanting almost made him want to fall asleep, almost. He knew that if he fell asleep now then he'd lose his chance at saving Noah.

He had been moved apparently, he remembered being in the basement, but now he was in the living room on top of his couch. He looked up at the ceiling hoping that someone had saved Noah while he was unconscious.

"Where's-" Stiles's throat was dry and his words came out rough.

"Baby wolf is off searching for a scent." Galaxy interrupted Stiles so that he could preserve his energy.

Stiles nodded licking at his chapped lips. Everything had stopped burning finally and his body was feeling better than before. He could hear soft murmurs, but he couldn't see who was talking. Stiles groaned and tried to sit up again, Galaxy held him down not breaking his chant.

The door opened and Stiles could see a flustered looking Derek standing by the doorway, "I can't catch a scent."

"She's blocked it." Galaxy spat his light eyebrows knitting together.

Stiles felt his chest become light and he sighed. The pain had gone away completely and his head felt normal again. The chanting ended and all fairies except for Galaxy stood up now looking at their leader for more commands.

"Is he okay?" Derek crouched by Stiles and brushed hair off of his mate's forehead.

Galaxy nodded before standing up with the other fairies, "We'll find her."

They rushed out the room and Derek looks over at Stiles with puffy, red eyes. Stiles cupped his cheek before gently sitting up with the help of Derek. The house was unnervingly silent and Stiles started to feel the panic set in.

"Where's Noah?" Stiles felt a lump form in his throat expecting to hear the worse.

"We don't know yet, but he's alive." Derek could see Stiles relax a bit, "the rest of the pack are out looking for him along with the entire fairy village."

"Really?" Stiles gaped and Derek nodded.

"I actually should be going back out." Derek stood up but Stiles caught his hand.

"I'm coming with." Stiles also stood up and Derek's eyebrows etched together.

"Stiles i almost lost you once today i don't want to almost lose you again." Derek shook his head.

Stiles could see the fear behind Derek's harden expression, "Der, I promise you won't lose me, but i have to do this."

Derek knew that once Stiles's mind was made up there no convincing him. He sighed and intertwined their fingers together knowing he was going to regret this later.

"Alright just don't leave my side." Stiles gave him a small smile with a nod, "promise?"

"I promise." Stiles squeezed his hand and they both made their way out of the house and into the woods.

The night air was crisp and cool making Stiles regret not bringing his sweater with him. The trees stood silently their shadows casting across their faces as the sun came up over the horizon. Stiles held onto Derek's hand tighter the deeper they went into the woods.

"Do you smell anything?" Stiles whispered and Derek shook his head frustrated.

His trail stopped directly in front of the cave he had found Scott in not too long ago. Derek felt butterflies erupt in his stomach the feeling of dread washing over him. Stiles could hear his own heart pounding in his ears and his mouth tasted like copper.

"Should we get the others?" Stiles pulled Derek back towards him as Derek moved to enter the cave.

"There's no time." Derek turned to look at Stiles.

"I just want you to be sure." Stiles whispered, "Noah needs you."

"He needs us both now more than ever." Derek grunted and stepped into the cave Stiles right on his tail.

The cave reeked of something rotten and dripped with a black goop. Stiles held his hand over his nose and made sure he didn't touch the walls. Derek's eyes now glowed red so that he could maneuver in the dark. The soft drips echoed deeper and deeper and Stiles felt himself becoming lightheaded.

"Der, something's not right." Stiles stopped to catch his breath even though he hadn't been running.

"What do you me-" Derek paused and quickly looked towards one of the few corners of the cave, "Stiles be very quiet."

Derek turned away from Stiles only before he couldn't register what was in front of him a puff of black ash surrounded his head. Derek crumbled to the ground and Stiles's eyes grew wide at the sight before him.

There she stood with Noah in her arms. Her short hair covered half her face and her eyes glowed a terrible white color. She had a smug, sketchy smirk with black ooze dripping down her chin. Noah wailed his cries growing louder and louder. Stiles wanted to comfort Noah and help Derek, but he was stuck. He was paralyzed.

"Hello, Mommy."
