in which a girl, distances herself from her best friend — clay jensen.

              in every smile, there was a story behind it. in every scar, there was an explanation. in every cause — there was a reason.

              leila johnson, was one of the few that became hannah baker's friends — wait scratch that, best friends. the two were really close and never left each other's side. leila never hurt hannah physically or emotionally, but instead she was the few that hannah trusted so dearly. and when hannah died, she was devastated. she cried herself to sleep. thinking that she was the reason of her death. so she distances herself from her other best friend — clay jensen.

              and after awhile of pondering, she receives tapes, but not like what clay recieved, but tapes that were special. the tapes were about hannah being grateful for leila.
