Oli and I stumbled into my house almost at the same time as my dad.

"You had a good time then" my dad asked, I could see he was amused. I was stood with my killer heels in my hand and oli was holding my clutch.

" it was great, I Need to go to sleep" I slurred.

"You do that" my dad said dryly.

"Can I have a word" my dad asked oli.

I left them to talk and started to  walk up the stairs. I couldn't help but be nosey , I sat on the top step and listened.

"I hope you and Lana don't rush into anything but if you do decide to do anything take this"

I didn't know what my dad was giving him but I had a good idea.

"I don't need that" I heard oli say

"Have you brought your own" my dad asked.

"No I haven't , we don't need them" oli repeated.

"If you think your going to sleep with my daughter without one your crazy. Lana is too young to be a mum and I don't want to be a grandad yet " my dad yelled.

"Jack I have no intentions of having sex with Lana, we haven't been together a week. I don't know about her  but I'm not ready for that" oli replied.

I smiled to myself and went to my room, I was happy that he felt the same way as I did. I knew he wasn't going to rush me or expect more than I was ready to give.

I changed into my zebra onesie and laid in bed, oli walked in laughing shortly after.

"So this is your room, it's nice " he said kindly.

He took his bag and went to the bathroom . He came back in loose shorts and a t shirt. Suddenly i felt awkward, I felt so nervous. He slipped in bed besides me and put his arm under my head. There was no time for kissing, he was asleep within minutes it didn't take me long to follow.

I woke around 9 Saturday morning, my mouth was like sandpaper and my head  felt like it was sheltering a bulldozer. I tied my hair to my head and went to my bedroom door, I was surprised to see it open. Oli had definitely closed  it before we went to sleep. Oli was still asleep, his arm was hanging off the bed and his mouth was open catching flies. I grabbed my phone and went downstairs I could have killed for a drink.

My dad was on the sofa with fudge on his lap, he laughed as he saw how delicate I was.  I grabbed a bottle of water and sat beside him.

"Good night then" my dad was amused, I looked like crap.

"Yeah , I'm paying for it now" I complained.

I sat and looked through the photos from the night, I saw a photo of me and oli smiling into the camera. It was a great picture I made it my profile picture on Facebook. I notice that oli had changed his profile picture to a full length photo of us. We looked like the perfect couple, his arms were draped around me and my hands were on his chest. Bot being vain but we looked super hot.

"Your lad snores" Amy said as she joined us in front of the tv.

"Does he" I hadn't noticed,I had fallen asleep pretty much straight away.

"Yeah your dad opened your door so we could hear if you were up to anything and we heard him snoring. He was like a train" Amy laughed.

I sucked at my cheek and stared at my dad. What would he do if he had heard suspicious sounds coming from my room anyway. I don't think my dad would have burst in, he would be too embarrassed.

"He's a good lad" my dad said as he smiled at me.

I heard oli stirring so I started breakfast, I made bacon sandwiches and fruit. I was gipping at the smell of it, I really didn't do well with food when I was hungover.

"Hi habibi " oli said as he kissed my shoulder and sat at the table. Amy had set the table and was pouring juice.

"All done" I declared as I placed the sandwiches on the table.

Oli bypassed the sandwiches and grabbed the fruit.

"Don't tell me you don't like bacon" Amy joked.

"I don't eat it" oli replied simply.

"We finally know what's wrong with him" my dad joked.

"I'm Muslim so I can't eat pig products"   Oli said simply.

I closed my eyes in embarrassment, I had no idea he was religious if i had I would never have cooked bacon. My dad looked mortified at what he had just said. My dad would never intentionally offend anyone, none of us would.

"I'm so sorry I didn't know" I said putting down my own sandwich.

"Don't worry I have no issues with being around people eating it, my mum and brother eat it." He explained.

I felt like a fool I never thought to ask what religion he was, we weren't religious so I never really thought of it.

"I'm not devout, I drink alcohol and stuff I just choose not to eat pork" he said breaking the silence.

"So what are you doing this afternoon" Amy asked.

We hadn't discussed our plans for the day, I didn't know if he was working or if we were spending the day together.

"I'm in the shop at midday but Alana can come hang out if she wants" oli answered.

"Me and Amy are going to Leeds shopping so we can bring her home around 6" my dad offered.

"Yeah that will be great thanks" oli replied

We finished breakfast and I ran upstairs to change. I wore natural make up and left my hair in a messy ponytail. I changed into my fall out boy tour t shirt and ripped denim jeggins. I wanted to look like I belonged in the music scene.

We left just before 11 so we would be going straight to the store.

The shop was all black with music posters all over the walls, if looked like it had been there years. I really liked the feel of it, there were rows and rows of records. I loved music and my tastes were eclectic just like my dad. I sat on a stool by the counter as oli served the customers. I was reading the back of a Metallica record when a customer approached me. Oli was busy so I had to at least attempt to help them.

"Is the price right on this, it seems expensive" a tall man with dreadlocks said as he handed me a record.

It was a Woodstock album from the 1970s it was marked at £24 which I thought was actually a little cheap.

"Actually I think it's underpriced, it's got 3 records and it's a pretty rare. I think it should be 34 pounds" I told him.

"Well you have to sell it for the marked price so I'll buy it for £24" he replied as he took the record back from me.

I rang him up and took his cash, he smiled and was about to leave.

"There's jimi Hendrix live at Woodstock over there in the sale basket its only £8" I told him.

"Cool I didn't see that, I'll have it thanks" he said as he grabbed the record.

"Who knew you were such a music specialist" oli whispered in my ear as he passed

"Oh there's so much you don't know about me" I whispered. It was true I had many secrets I just hoped i didn't lose him when they were spilt.
