"(Y/N)!!!!!" You heard two panicked voices scream. "Hmm?" You hummed looking up from your book. You watched as Ayato and Laito ran into the living room quickly diving behind the couch you were sitting on. Sighing you closed your book turning around you rested your arms on the back of the couch looking down at them bored.
"What's going on now?" You asked. They both looked up at you putting a finger to their lips. "Shhh!!!!!" You raised a brow at the two of them before a familiar scent reached your nose. "Ah~ I see~" You sang giving them a wink as you quickly went and pretended to be reading your book.
Reiji came walking into the room an annoyed expression on his face. "(Y/n) have you seen Ayato and Laito?" He asked looking at you. You hummed flipping another page in your book. "Nope." You casually said. Reiji sighed pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Those two..." He grumbled. "What did they do this time?" You asked glancing over at him. "Those two went and broke a very important item of mine." He growled a dark aura surrounding him. You hummed placing the book down. "That sucks. What item?" You asked giving him your full attention.
"..." Reiji didn't say anything as he pushed up his glasses. "That doesn't concern you. All you need to know is that if you find them report to me at once." He said sternly. "Yes sir!" You pretended to salute him. He grumbled something under his breath before walking away.
Once you thought that the cost was clear you turned back to see both males heaving sighs of relief. "You guys are idiots." You said sighing. They looked up at you frowns on their faces. "Oi! It's not our fault!" Ayato yelled. "Fufufu~ he's right~ Reiji-Kun shouldn't have scared us~" Laito chuckled.
You just looked with at them unimpressed. "What did you break?" You asked closing your eyes. "Some stupid heart made out of stone." Ayato grumbled. "Yeah~ it had a small message written on it~ wonder what it was~" Laito hummed. You slowly opened your eyes glancing over at them.
"..." Without saying anything you stood up making your way out of the living room. 'So...he still had that?' You thought to yourself as you made your way up the stairs. You quietly walked down the halls towards his room. "Hmm? (Y/n)? Where are you going?"
You look over seeing Shu exit his room. "Oh. I'm going to see Reiji." You said. He looked at you tilting his head slightly. "Well that's a first in a long time." He said. You hum nodding your head. "Yeah. It is isn't it?" You whispered. Shu just watched you before shaking his head.
"Good luck." He mumbled patting your head. You looked back at him watching as he walked off to who knows where. "...Thank you brother." You whispered before continuing your walk down to Reiji's room. Once you reached it you noticed the door was still slightly open.
"..." Quietly you went and peeked into his room. He sat in his chair a troubled expression on his face. "Those morons." He whispered closing his eyes. Your eyes slowly traveled down to his small table where you saw the stone hearts pieces shattered into a million pieces.
"..." Your eyes saddened slightly. 'Reiji...' Taking a deep breath you went and opened his door walking into the room. He looked over at you his expression growing stern. "Did you find them?" He asked. You shrugged your shoulders as you walked over taking a seat across from him.
"They were behind the couch." You mumbled looking down at the broken pieces. Reiji didn't say anything as he watched you. You slowly went and picked up a piece. "Didn't think you still had this." You mumbled. Reiji only hummed. "Didn't think you'd care." He said. You smirked slightly closing your eyes.
"I'm surprised is all. After all we got in that giant fight as kids remember? Since then we haven't said a word to each other really." You laughed. Reiji nods his head. "Yes. You changed your appearance after that." He commented. "You started to dress more like Shu." He added.
You hummed looking down at your shorts and sweater. "I guess so." You mumbled. "You also stopped wearing your glasses." Reiji said. You closed your eyes. "They were annoying." You spoke. "Heh." Reiji laughed lightly closing his eyes. "I guess I just couldn't get rid of something my sister made for me." He spoke casually.
You opened your eyes and looked at him. "Reiji." You said causing him to look up at you. "Do you want a knew one?" You asked tilting your head. He looked at you confused before realizing what you meant. "There's no need. It would be useless." He said sighing.
You looked at him for a moment before smiling to yourself. "I'll take that as a yes." You laughed. He only sighed pushing up his glasses. "Fine do as you please." He mumbled. You smiled at him. 'This is nice...I can't remember the last time we talked like this.' You thought closing your eyes.
"Would you like some tea?" He asked standing up. "Nah I'm good. I'd rather not be a lab rat." You said. He chuckled as he poured two cups of tea. "Don't worry." He said handing you a cup. "I don't test my experiments on guests." He said taking a sip of his tea. You hummed as you went and took a sip yourself.
"I'm trusting you Reiji." You smirked. For the rest of the day you both talked about random things. Of course he has to mention your grades causing you to sigh. You glanced down at the broken heart and smiled taking another sip of your drink. 'Guess I wrote the right message.'
