You sat there in your dark room quietly playing your otome game. A piece of Pocky hung from your mouth your eyes dull. You forgot how long you had been in your room all you know is you've been here since you woke up. You continued to play your game falling more in love with the character.

Just then your door opened letting the light from outside shine in. You frowned slightly shielding your eyes with your arm. "I should've known you'd be in here." The familiar voice of your brother sighed. You hummed putting your arm down once your eyes adjusted to the light.

You ate the Pocky stick pausing your game. "What do you want Kino?" You asked bored. He sighed walking into your room. "You're supposed to be learning how to be a lady." He said glaring at you. You sighed falling back onto your bed. "That's boring." You mumbled closing your eyes.

"I'd rather try and get (f/c) to fall in love with me." You said pointing towards your tv screen. Kino only sighed shaking his head. He looked around your room seeing all the action figures, posters, plushies. "You're obsessed." He mumbled.

You only hummed sitting back up. "I prefer in love." You said smiling. He only shook his head going over and turning your light on. You whined at the brightness shielding your eyes from the light. "NOOOOO!!!! MY EYES!!!!" You cried out dramatically. Kino only rolled his eyes shaking his head.

"(Y/n) you need to work on your obsession." He mumbled. "It's love!" You yelled sitting up glaring at him. He only glared back. "Come on. We have school." He said. You pout slightly but nod getting up and turning off your tv. You go and toss on your uniform following Kino out of the mansion.

You both walked silently down the streets towards the night school. You knew about your brother plans to become king but to be honest you could care less. You were more into anime and manga than anything else. You sighed putting your headphones in to listen to some Vocaloid.

The two of you continued to walk silently until you reached the school. Once there your brothers fangirls started to come up to him. You hummed walking past them and towards the school. As you walk you feel someone place a hand on your shoulder stopping you.

You glance back only to see Kanato sakamaki. You paused your music slowly pulling out your earbuds. "Hm? Kanato-Sama?" You asked tilting your head. "(Y/n)-chan do you have any sweets?" He asked innocently tilting his head. A small blush appeared on your cheeks. "K-kawaii!!!" You cheered happily hugging him.

He allowed it because the two of you were close friends. "Yeah I have some." You said reaching into your bag and pulling out two boxes of Pocky. "Here ya go!" You cheered happily. He smiled thanking you as he took them from you. The two of you walked into the school leaving your brother behind.

~time skip~

You hummed as you sketched out plans for your new manga. 'I wonder if I should hand these in...I'm sure I could make a lot of money.' You thought to yourself. Just then someone sat across from you causing you to glance up. Kino sat there looking annoyed and exhausted.

"What's up with you?" You asked tilting your head. He only sighed closing his eyes. "Those foolish human girls won't leave me alone." He mumbled. "Well I guess that's the price you must pay for being handsome." You said shrugging your shoulders. He only glared at you annoyed. You giggled slightly before going back to drawing.

"...are you and Kanato dating?" He suddenly asked bored. Your eyes went wide as you accidentally broke the tip of your pencil off. "What?!?! Are you crazy?!?!" You yelled looking up at him. "Not fully." He said resting his palm against his cheek. "I could never cheat on my loves!" You cried dramatically.

Kino only sighed. "And by loves you mean those fictional characters who know nothing about you and will never love you back." He said bluntly. An arrow shot right through your heart as a depressed aura surrounded you. "You're so mean..." you whispered tears streaming down your face.

He only hummed glancing over at your drawings. "..." without saying anything he tapped your head causing you to glance up at him. "There's a new anime store just down the road. Would you like to go after school?" He asked curiously. You automatically cheered up sparkles in your eyes.

"Really?!?!" You yelled excited. Kino sweat drops slightly but nods his head. "Yeah...sure." He said. You cheered happily jumping up and giving him a giant hug. "Thank you so much Onii-chan!" You said. Kino was shocked by the sudden jester. You had never called him that at least not since you were small.

'She must really love this stuff.' He thought gently patting your head. The rest of the night you were happily walking around the school and surprisingly paying attention in class.

~after school~

Once school was over you and Kino both walked down the sidewalk towards the new anime shop. You were happily humming to yourself while Kino started to reconsider his choices. "Oh! There it is!" You cheered running towards the new anime store.

Kino sighed as he slowly followed you. Once inside he saw you with things already in your arms. "..." he slowly went and checked his wallet. "..." He was gonna be broke as hell. He watched you for what seemed like hours as you went and chose what you'd like.

To him you looked like a happy child at what humans call Christmas. Once you were done shopping for the day Kino payed for all of your stuff helping you carry some of the many bags you had. "That was fun!" You laughed. Kino on the other hand was depressed about his now empty wallet.

~at home~

Once the two of you reached the mansion you quickly went into your room and turned on the light. Kino watched as you went through all your new stuff and started to put it away. He smiled leaning up against your door frame. He had never seen you so happy.

Once you were done you went and turned your tv on getting ready to play more of your otome game from earlier. "(Y/n)." You froze hearing your brother call you. You slowly turned to him seeing the smile on his face. "Lets make a deal. From now on if you ever want something from that store..."

He looked at you with narrowed eyes. "You'll have to start your lessons on becoming a lady." He said coldly. You shivered slightly feeling an empty void fill your heart. "That's not fair!" You yelled. He only smiled shutting your door and walking away.

You whines could be heard throughout the entire mansion making Kino laugh. He took a seat at his desk and stared to get back to work.

"She's a weird Otaku."
