It was the day after you had spoken to your big brother Ruki and you were quietly sitting on your bed all ready for school. 'I don't want to go...' You thought sadly. Just then the door opened causing you to look up. Ruki stood there with his usual expression.

"Are you ready for school?" He asked. You just nod your head jumping off from the bed with a small smile. He nods his head at this before speaking. "Good. Let's get going then." He said causing you to look at him confused.

"Are you coming with me today Ruki-nii?" You asked tilting your head. He just looked at you before smiling a small smile. "Yes. Me and Nanami have something to discuss." He said calmly. You just nod your head as you follow him out of your room and into the limo.

"Bye (Y/n)! Have fun at school! We'll miss you!" Your brother Kou cheered waving while Yuma and Azusa silently waved. You waved back at them before the limo drove off. It was silent between the two of you neither of you looking to say the first word. 'I wonder if him and Nanami-Sensei are going to be talking about the bullies at school.' You thought.

You glanced over at your brother seeing him read his fathers journal once again. "...Was your dad a nice person?" You whispered softly. Ruki stopped reading glancing down at you. "You could say that." He calmly spoke. You just nod your head. You and Ruki weren't full siblings you both had the same mom just different dads.

"If he was so nice...then why did mom leave him behind?" You asked sadly. Ruki didn't say anything as he just watched your sad form. "I choose not to think about that. All I know is that because she left I was given you." He said causing you to look up at him surprised.

He just smiled gently patting your head. "I promise I'll do everything to keep you safe and happy." He whispered. You just smiled at this nodding your head a small blush on your cheeks. Soon you reached your school where all the kids were still outside heading in.

Ruki felt you grip his shirt gently placing a hand on yours. He stood up and exited the limo holding a hand out for you. You slowly followed after him watching as all the other kids looked at you surprised. You stood next to your brother quietly holding his hand as you made your way into the school.

"Where's your locker?" He asked looking around. "I don't need to go to it..." You whispered not wanting him to see all the hate letters you probably have on it. Ruki noticed this and sighed. "Never mind I remember what number it is." He said walking in the direction of your locker.

"R-Ruki-nii I said I don't need anything!" You protested. He just ignored you as the two of you reached your locker. There you saw all the notes causing your heart to ache. The group of kids that usually laugh at you stood there surprised as they stared at your brother.

Ruki didn't say anything as he went and carefully took each letter putting them into his bag. "Open it." He said calmly. You slowly did as told watching as more fell out. Ruki's eyes narrowed at this as he went and grabbed the rest of them. You went and carefully grabbed your books for class.

You glanced up at him seeing him glare at the group of kids who shivered slightly before walking off. He looked back down at you and sighed. "Does this happen everyday?" He asked. You just silently nod your head. He didn't say anything as he looked ahead.

"To Nanami's classroom correct?" He asked. "Yeah." You whispered. The two of you make your way into the classroom where everyone looks at you. You notice Nanami smile at you as she walks toward you both. "Hello Mukami-Kun." She said sweetly.

"Hello miss Sakamaki." Your brother said formerly. 'Even though they both know each other so well they're still formal when in front of children.' You thought impressed with both of them. You watched as Nanami turned to the class. "Class Mukami-kun will be taking care of you all while I am away for the day. Please treat him well." She said.
