Just as Serena went to switch off her phone it began to ring. Serena tapped the accept button on her IPhone 7 and listened to the voice on the other line
'Hello I'm looking for a Serena Van Der Woodson'
'Speaking, how may I help you?' Serena asked sweetly
'Hello there, my name is Doctor Whittmore and I work at the hospital. I'm just calling to let you know that your test results are in and that we need you to come down here immediately...it's urgent!' Said the woman
'Okay, I-I'm on m-my way' Serena stuttered as she slipped her arms through the sleeves of her coat.
After saying her goodbyes to the worker Serena jumped into a cab, tears brimming at her eyes, that didn't sound good...

'Argh!' Blair exclaimed throwing her arms in the air
Chuck cocked a brow and walked towards his wife, 'What's happened now? All this stress isn't good for...'
'I KNOW!' Blair interrupted, burying her head in her hands, 'Serena won't respond to any of my texts' she told him quietly
Chuck gently rubbed her shoulders, 'Don't worry, I'm sure she's fine. She's probably just out to lunch with Humphrey or something like that'
'You're right' Blair whispered, wiping her eyes 'she's probably fine'

Serena's shakily walked into one of the many doctors offices and sat in the opposing seat to her.
'Now that you're here we have a few things we'd like to discuss with you Miss Van Der Woodson'
'Okay' Serena mumbled, wriggling around in her chair
'Well you're results show that the tumour located in your left breast is...'
'STOP!' Serena cried as she stood up from her seat tears streaming down her face, 'I can't do this right now!'
Serena sling her handbag over her shoulder and rushed out of the room, without looking back. She continued to run until she'd exited the hospital
She shoved her hand into her bag and pulled out her iPhone, wiping her tears away Serena dialled Blairs number
It rang for a few seconds before a familiar voice picked up the phone, 'Hey B...yea it's me...Im so sorry I've been ignoring you b-b-but I need you!'
