Dan casually strolled along the busy streets, moving closer and closer to Serena's apartment with every step he took
She had asked him to meet her there along with a few other people and of course he was attending...he'd do anything for her!

Dan rolled his eyes and pushed the device back into his pocket. He had just arrived outside Serena's apartment block and a few minutes later stepped through the doors of her home.
'Okay everyone's here now!' Serena told herself nervously, 'Now you may be wondering why I called you all here today' she breathed 'and that's because...'
She glanced over to Blair who nodded her head in a very slight approving manner
'That's because I've recently been diagnosed with cancer and Blair and I thought that it might be fun to create a bucket list for me to complete before I leave you all and I was hoping you guys could help me!'
Everyone stared with shocked and horrified faces. Dan rubbed his chin with his index finger, trying to work up the courage to speak
He opened his mouth but no sound came out, so instead of forcing out words Dan shakily walked towards Serena and brushed his hand across her her cheek
'Come here' he whispered as he he pulled her into a hug. One by one all of Serena's guests had their time alone with Serena, offering to help her with the list and trying to comfort her
Everyone except Blair who was off doing whatever in the bathroom although Dan assumed she already knew.
Even after everyone, including himself had retreated back to their own apartments Dan couldn't shake the experience from his mind.
He couldn't imagine a world without Serena, he didn't want to. She lit up his world and without her everything seemed so dull and boring.
Dan couldn't deny it any longer. He still loved Serena and he couldn't imagine a day when he wouldn't
