Minutes passed, hours, days but still no word from the doctor. It had been nearly a week since her last appointment and Serena was a bundle of nerves
And the worst part was she dad no one to talk to about it. Serena knew Blair would over react to just about every aspect of her illness and nobody else knew if the cancer
Bored and lonely Serena switched on her phone and scrolled through her contacts looking for someone she could talk to, as an attempt to fake her mind off things
Serena stopped and hesitantly clicked on the word NATE. Sure they'd been friends for as long as she could remember but their friendship had been sailing through rocky shores these past few months
After another one of their 'no strings attached / friends with benefits stunts they ended up in a bad place...
But there was no harm in saying hello, right?

Serena let out a huge sigh. That meant Nate wouldn't be there for her so thought treatments / operations or whatever
