'S!' Blair cried as she sashayed towards her best friend, shutting the limousine door behind her
'B!' Serena smiled as she wrapped her arms around her best friend, 'What happend, what's wrong?' Blair asked wiping away Serena's tears with her thumb
Serena struggled to get the words out, ' I-I-I' Sobs escaped Serena's mouth and she rested her head on Blairs shoulder, dampening the sleeves of her dress with salty tears.
After a few moments Blair grabbed a hold of Serena's hand, intertwining their fingers and bearing a smile of reassurance
Serena slowly lead Blair to the office where she had recently been meeting with her doctor.
'Shall we pick up where we left off?' The woman asked, the girls nodded
'As I was saying, the tumour located in your left breast is a rare and aggressive form of cancer.'
Blairs grip on her friends hand tightened
'And considering that the cancer is already in its third stage there's really not much else we can do. From what we can see the cancer hasn't spread so that's good, but I'd say you've only got about 6 months if remain untreated...'
'But what if she is treated?!' Blair piped up
'If Serena chooses to undergo chemotherapy and surgery then I'd say she'll live for around 1-2 years!'
'There must be something else you can do, I can beat this!' Serena said desperately, 'can't I?'
The woman shook her head sadly, 'I'm afraid the odds of that are very slim!'

Serena stormed out of the building in a pool of tears Blair chasing after her, like a fan stalking a celebrity
'Serena wait!' Blair shrieked, grabbing her wrist, 'Serena!' She spun the tall blonde around to face her
'What? Face it Blair I'm dying. All I want to do is go home and stay out of everyone's way, maybe then they won't be as upset when I do die!'
Blair scrunched up her nose, 'That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! You shouldn't be spending your last moments curled up under a blanket in some cramped apartment, you should make the most of your life while you still can!'
'So what are you suggesting?'
'I don't know, how about a bucket list?'
'A bucket list...I like that idea!'
