Blushing

Arriving for my first day of fourth year at Hogwarts I make my way to the carriages. An empty carriage awaits so I climb in and sit down, I pull out my favorite book and begin reading while I wait.

After awhile footsteps can be heard by multiple people.

"Ew, I don't wanna sit with the blood-traitor." Someone snarled. Not needing to look up from my book to know who it is.

"Then walk." I simply reply not looking up from my book. Earning some laughs from a couple of them, and a quite chuckle from Draco. She huffs and sits down as far away as she can from me. Once everyone's in the carriage it begins to move. It was quite for a decent amount of time before she starts talking again. About me of course.

"I can't believe I'm sitting in the same carriage as you!" She spits.

"It's bad enough sharing a house with you. I don't understand why the sorting hat put you in Slytherin!" She spat yet again.

"I told you, you could've walked." I simply stated putting my book away.

"Like I'd walk." She said in a snobby tone.

"Pansy Pansy Pansy, we all know you'd walk any 'distance' if it was for your dracy-poo." I said in a baby voice as the carriage came to a stop. Getting off the carriage I begin walking away towards the great hall for dinner. The look of anger on pansy's face and disgust on Draco's.

Taking a bite of my chicken while I listen to the people rambling on. Never in my four years at Hogwarts I never became close with anyone, well, i am a really shy person when it comes to talking or doing anything social at all I'm not good with people. I can only stand up for myself if someone's bulling me like earlier it's easy, but having a normal conversation is hard. I can't-

"Yeah, I had to sit in the same carriage as that blood-traitor!" Pansy spit taking me out of my thoughts.

"She's so wired to, like I've never seen anyone so wired." She snarled. A couple of them laughed all except Draco, he sat there quietly. Peeking a small glance over i caught Draco's eyes on me. He smirked a little that caused me to blush a high red color and look away.

After dinner sitting in the girls dorm room with my potions homework trying to block out the talking about the other girls. Finally having enough of them taking about me I close my books and make my way down to the common room. Sitting by the burning fire I sigh, letting my thoughts take over. I think back onto Draco's smirk, the smirk that can melt anyone's heart, I blush red yet again just at the simple thought of it. 'No don't! Y/n focus!' I thought to myself. Huddled up in one of the chairs knees to my chest I stare at the fire, once again letting my thoughts take over.

Not long after footsteps are heard coming from the boys dorm. I turn my slightly to see a figure walking down the stairs. I turn back around looking at the fire trying not wanting to talk to anyone.

"What are you still doing up?" That sly voice spoke. I turn around to see the one and only Draco.

"I had enough of them talking about me for one day." I said, but it came more like a whisper. He sits down on the couch and stars at the fire.

"Ah, same here." He says crossing his arms over his chest.

"What do you mean? Everyone is either in love with you or hates you." I smirk, but blush at the same time, hopefully the darkness of the room kept my blush hidden.

"Yeah well, I had enough of them talking about you." He said turning to look at me. I blush harder and hide my face from the fire.

"You know none of those things they say are true right?" He said moving to stand in front of me. I blush more if that's even possible.

"Why would you care." I simply state. Turning my gaze to look down at my knees. He gets down to my level and takes my chin in his hand lifting it up slightly to look at him. Blushing harder as his eyes shine from the moonlight from the window.

"I've cared since first year y/n, I just... never wanted to say anything cause I was scared of rejection that's why." He said looking down and releasing my chin, a light blush covering his pale cheeks. I blush a dark shade of red, if it's even possible to blush anymore. I would have never thought I'd see the day where Draco Malfoy blushes, or gets nervous in front of anyone.

"O-oh." I squeak. He looks up to only get glimpse of my face in the moonlight to see a dark blush on my face. He smirks and chuckles lightly, soon it turns into almost full laughter but not enough to wake the other students, as he falls to the floor laughing.

"W-Whats so funny?" I ask lifting myself up to look over on the floor to the laughing Draco.

"Y-You we're blushing, it was cute." He said sitting up. I blush at his teasing and hide my face in my hands.

"T-That's not funny!" I squeak yet again, hands still covering my face. It's silent for a good while before he finally speaks again.

"Y/n."
"H-Hmm?" I respond mentally slapping myself for stuttering.

"W-will..." he trails off.

"God, this was much easier in my head." He says. Looking back at him he's rubbing the back of his head with his hand nervously.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is.... will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, a look of hope in his eyes. My eyes widen at his sudden confession. Mouth open a little, I try to get words out but nothing comes out.

"Yes, I will." I finally say. He looks up at me and smiles a genuine smile a real smile. He stands up at the speed of lightning, picks me up and spins me around in circles for a few seconds. He kisses my forehead as he holds me and says.

"I love you Y/n."
"I love you too, Draco." And we close it with a passionate kiss.

A/n sorry it's late!! I've been busy! Enjoy!
