What if?

"But Herm!"

"No buts Y/n why can't you tell him?"

"It's not that easy! What if he rejects me! What if he laughs at me! What if-"

"Ugh! Enough with the 'what ifs' none of that is going to happen. He likes you, he stars at you during potions class." I sigh and slouch in my seat. Oh! You must not know what we were talking about. Yeah well you see I kind of have a thing for Draco Malfoy, and Hermione was telling me to confess to him. How could I easily confess to him?

"I'm a griffindore, why would he like me he's Slytherin. We're supposed to hate each other." I mumble pushing the corn around on my plate

"Like I said. He. Likes. You." She said clearly and slowly. I huff and roll me eyes not wanting to believe her in fear of rejection from him.

"He's staring at you right now as we speak." She sassed nudging her head to signal me to turn around and look. I turn my head slightly to see she's right, he is staring at me he catches my eye and quickly looks Dow at his plate of food. I look back at Hermione and sigh.

"He's probably just looking at me because I'm stupid." I mumble before getting up and walking off.

"Hey! Wait up!" I smooth calming all to familiar voice calls causing me to stop in my tracks. I quickly look down praying he was talking to someone else and not me.

"Hey..." he said our if breath oh no....

"Uh... hi." I say awkwardly looking up to meet those beautiful silver eyes that you could easily get lost in.

"Umm... do you need something?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

"Oh r-right! Um.." he plays with his hands nervously. "-do you maybe i don't know wanna go to hogsmade with me on Saturday..?" He mumbled as he played with his fingers nervously. I didn't know the Draco Malfoy could get nervous. I'm still in shock as he did just ask me out.

"I-i- sure!" I give him a closed eye smile only to open my eyes to his cheeks turn a light pink color. He clears his throat before mumbling a great and walking away.

"It's a date Herm, it's not like I'm gonna steak something."

"Yes yes I know but, what if-"

"Nah ah no what ifs." I wave a finger in her face before throwing on my red beanie on and making my way to the schools court yard.

As I'm walking I can't help but think, why would he ask me out? I mean, not that I'm complaining but there are other girls, girls that are prettier, and are in Slytherin and are rich and-

"Hey.." a voice pulled me out of my thoughts. I quickly look up to see I'm in the court yard, standing a few feet away from Draco. I didn't even notice I was lost in thought.

"Hey! You ready?" I smile taking a few more steps towards him.

"Yeah." He walked up to me and linked are hands causing a blush to rise up my cheeks.

"Yeah it happened. I thought you saw"

"No I never did. I can't believe I missed you getting turned into a ferret!" I laughed shaking my head and running my finger around the bottom rim of my butter beers cup. Draco smiled, he loved her laugh always has it's one of the things he loves about her so much. It just makes his day better. He moved from his seat in the booth across from her and moved to sit beside her lacing their hands together. I blushed, which I'm pretty sure he saw because he smirked and kissed my red cheek, causing me to blush more if possible.

"What was that for..." I shyly mumble and squeeze his hand lightly.

"Your just so cute." I looked up and looked into his beautiful grayish blue eyes. They are beautiful. He slowly started leaning in me meeting and stoping half way. He stoped just before his lips touched mine.

"Can I kiss you?" He asked. His breath fanning across my lips. He smells like mint and apples. A great smell. I nod and my eyes widen as his soft warm lips come in contact with my slightly chapped cold ones. My arms snake around his neck playing with ends of his bleach blonde hair. His go around my waist holding me tightly trying to bring me as close as possible. I groan lightly as his tongue asks for entrance which I gladly accepted and groaned again st the feeling of his tongue exploring its new territory.

We pull away breathless panting and looking each other in the eyes lovingly.

"Wow...." was all I could manage to say.

"That was amazing." I sighed placing my head on his chest.

"Was that your first kiss...?" He asked his chest vibrating with each word. All I do is simply nod to embarrassed to look him in the eyes I burry my face deeper into his chest.

"Well, I'm glad I was your first then. And I'll be your last." He smiled kissing the back of my head before placing his chin down on top. I smiled placing a kiss on his neck, before closing my eyes and enjoying his company. That date started a beautiful relationship that lasted forever.
