Alex's confession

I gasped sitting up I felt a gush of wind before I saw Emmett sitting at the foot of my bed the window was open it was dark and the only light came from the moon

"Where did you come from?"I asked him tucking my hair behind my ear

"The window"he says looking back at me smiling

"Do you do that a lot?"I asked him

"You have no idea"he says chuckling

"Why do I suddenly feel violated?"I asked him he laughs

"I just like to watch you sleep"he says I slowly scooted closer to him

"Yeah because that's not creepy at all"I said laughing

"You'll get used to it"he says looking at me again I laughed

"Yeah I don't think that's gonna happen"I said laughing

"I wanna take you to meet my parents tomorrow"he says abruptly I coughed

"Your parents? As in..."I trailed off

"My foster parents yes...Are you afraid?" He asked I shook my head

"No I just what am I gonna wear?"I asked him getting up and going to my closet

"Seriously?"he asked

"What?"I asked feigning innocence

"I'm sure you'll be fine with something simple"he says I looked at him

"I don't wanna look plain Emmett"I said he stands up walking towards me he leans against the doorway

"You won't you'll look perfect...."he says he walks towards the window

"Don't leave"

I sat at the table eating a apple things have been tense with my dad and I ever since I didn't show up at the hospital when Bella got in that accident

"Morning"I said he says nothing just opens the fridge

"Really?"I asked I was so sick of this and I wasn't gonna apologize

"What?"he asked setting down the milk I got up

"Wow dad that's really mature of you"I said shaking my head

"What do you want me to say Alex?you didn't come visit your sister at the hospital because you were with that Cullen kid"he said with disgust 

"That Cullen kid has a name its Emmett and she's fine"I said very aware of Bella coming down the stairs

"Oh so you're on first name basis already"he said raising his eyebrows

"Stop I'm sick of this!" Bella exclaimed looking at the both of us

"You're not the only one"dad says

"If you don't want me here dad then just say it"I said shaking my head

"Stop he wants you here"Bella tells me I folded my arms

"Right dad?"Bella asked looking at him

"Yeah"he said shrugging I scoffed walking to my room Bella and my dad following

"Alex where are you going?"Bella asked as I started packing my suitcase

"I'm leaving"I said happy I only brought one

"You're not leaving"Bella tells me as I walked into my bathroom

"Well say thank you to dad cause I am"I said as I walked passed her and back to my room grabbing my suitcase

"Dad say something"Bella said

"If she wants to leave Bella then let her"he said I pushed passed him and towards the door she caught me outside

"Wait at least ask Emmett for a ride I'll drive you to school"she said I nodded

"Okay"

I sat on the bench of the empty park tears falling down my face

"Alex?"I heard Emmett's voice I lifted my head to look up at him

"Alex what happened?"he asked crouching down in front of me  I looked at my suitcase his eyes followed mine

"You're leaving?"he asked eyes wide as I stood up

"I have to I don't have a choice"I said biting my lip 

"You always have a choice"he said shaking his head

"My dad doesn't even want me home because I didn't visit Bella when she was in the hospital"I explained to him

"You mean because you were with me"he said I nodded

"Yeah"I said

"This all happened because of me"he said my head snapped up

"No"I said shaking my head

"What do you mean no? You just said your dad didn't want you anymore because you were here with me and not with Bella how is that not my fault?"he said I moved closer to him

"Because it's mine everything I convinced Bella to come home with me I stuck my nose where it shouldn't have been I decided to stay right here with you and not go to her"I told him

"That isn't your fault"he said I shook my head

"You can't stand here look me in the eyes and tell me that this isn't my fault"I said he cups my face

"It's not your fault"he said my eyes searched his I sighed resting my head on his chest it was starting to get light out he pulls away

"I wanna show you something"

We sat in the tree watching as the sun came up he looks at me

"Give me your hand"he said holding out his hand

"Should I be scared?"I asked him

"The opposite actually"he said I took a deep breath before nodding

"Okay"I said taking his hand he flings me onto his lap I breathed heavily in shock my hands on his shoulders my legs wrapped around his waist suddenly we were on the ground and I was clinging onto his white long sleeved shirt for dear life he puts me on the ground eyes watching me carefully

"Do you know why we don't come out in the sunlight?"he asked me I shook my head

"No"I said he chuckles before turning his back to me he pulls off his shirt holding it in his hand as he walks into the sunlight his skin starts to sparkle like the richest diamonds sparkling all at once
