The first day of kindergarten was hard on us both. Mommy wouldn't let her take me to school with her. So I spent the whole day stuck on the floor of her room.
I was okay though, because she still held me tight to her chest at night, telling me all about her day. She took me to show-and-tell once and I got to meet all her friends. It was nice to see where she was when I wasn't with her.
But I would still miss her during the day.
