"You did WHAT."
I rolled my (E/C) eyes, grabbing a hold of my coffee mug "Y'know, I really question why and how I end up telling you these things" I shifted uncomfortably on my smooth, beige sofa with a hint of worry in my voice
"You are sleeping with that...that...CLOWN!!! LITERALLY." Granny responded furiously "This job, this mission that I assigned you, wasn't so you could FUCK someone. In fact, according to how everything was supposed to go, you were just supposed to give The Joker his money and leave. Yet what did you do instead?" Granny crossed her arms, awaiting for a response
"I'm not a little kid. I'm not repeating myself-"
I was cut off once again by Granny's annoying, loud, obnoxious voice
"No, no, go on. Tell me."
I sighed, nervously fidgeting "Look, I know I made a mistake.."
"A big one. You're messing with the MOST wanted criminal in Gotham. " Granny continued
"For my safety, Lord, for my safety.. " Granny pauses before continuing "You're moving out."
"Are you serious?!" I exclaimed, eyes widened in pure shock
"Get out." Her voice was cold. Disapproval in every word that came out.
Staring at her with my widened (e/c) eyes, I finally stood up, my eyes narrowed at her
"Fine"
I rushed past her, grabbing my needed things before walking out the door
"Find some dignity for yourself while you're at it" Granny shouts mid-way as I walk out the door
I dialed Joker in hopes he'd respond quickly. And to my surprise, he did.
"What's wrong, darling?" He spoke
"I just got kicked out of my own home." I scoffed, walking down the stairs and into the lobby
There was a sudden silence in the call
"It was because of me wasn't it?" Joker mentioned, with a bit of rage in his tone.
"You know how Granny is.. a bitch."
"You're welcome to stay with me, (y/n)" He whispered into the phone
"I plan on doing so." A grin grew upon my face
"Excellent." He replied
"Gives me more time with you" Joker hinted at something dirty, hearing him chuckle mischievously
