Chapter 4

She was falling, and falling and falling for over 20 minutes now since she accidently tripped in a bottle of coke. She thought to herself that how did a bottle of coke get inside of that tunnel? Stupid bottle of coke! Then she remembered a video couple of days ago that she watched entitled What if you fell into the deepest hole on earth? she realized that the hole in that video is very small and it does not resemble any bits of it.

But the narrator said it would take 3 minuets to reach the inner most part of the earth and it’s been 20 plus minutes, it’s way longer than she expected.

The only question she wanted someone to answer is How long is this fall going to stop?!

A few more minutes and she can now feel something; something hot and it’s getting hotter and hotter every seconds passed. It’s dark and she can’t see anything inside pero nakakaramdam siya ng hilo simula nung bigla siyang makramdam ng init sa katwan niya.

I don’t want to die. I still need to find my dad. The last thing she thought before she passed out.

Ngayon nakaramdam siya na nakahiga na siya sa isang patag pero may maliliit na kung anu man ang tumutusok sa kanya. Dahan-dahan niyang iminulat ang kanyang mga mata, hindi pa masyadong malinaw ang kanyang paningin pero nakakakita siya ng dalawang anino. Nakakarinig siya ng mga boses pero hindi niya maintindihan nag kanilang sinasbi.

Hindi niya maigalaw ang kanyang katawan at pakiramdam niyang mawawalan na naman siya ng malay. Magkaraan ng ilang segundo ay nahimatay nga ito.

Her sense was up when she smelled the rustic smell of a metal. Dahan-dahan siyang tumayo sa pagkakahiga at tinignan ang paligid. The place was small but by the looks of it you can easily tell that a hurricane passed through here. She can see pieces of computer chip or any kind of chips on the table and she thought that Who’s bedroom am I in?

Then she remembered what have happened before she passed out. She was falling but somehow, she’s now on someone’s bedroom. She thought this was wrong. Na alarma siya kaya tumayo siya at nakita niya na may salamin sa isang sulok ng kwarto at tinignan niyang ang kanyang sarili. Walang may nagbago sa suot niya except sa pulseras na kanyang suot. It was like the smart watches she saw on Rory pero sa pagkakaalam niya wala siyang suot na kahit anu mang aksesorya sa kanyang pulso kaya pilit niya itong tinatanggal pero hindi niya matanggal. Are smartwatches really that hard to take off? she thought pero makailang pilit, hindi talaga ito matanggal kaya hinayaan niya na lang ito.

While looking at herself nakita niya ang bag niya sa salamin kaya naisipan niyang umalis baka kung anung gawin sa kanya dito. She watches to many horror series she thought maybe later she end up dead while staying here longer.

Grabbing her bag and silently walked outside. Habang nag lalakad siya ay pinakikiramdaman niya ang paligid nag baka merong sumalubong sa kanya pero the place is quiet. Scanning the surroundings at kagaya nung kwarto na ngaling siya ay napakamakalat ng paligid. It’s a perfect place to commit a murder, she thought.

On the distant she can hear voice. Two male voices; one with a very deep tone which presume his old and the other one has a very deep but not so deep kind of voice, maybe a teenager. Hindi niya masyadong pinakikialaman ang mga sinasabi nila kaya dahan-dahan siya nag lakad baka marinig siya.

Nang makalabas ay bumungad sa kanya ang patung-patong na mga sirang sasakyan and also it was night already. She walked slowly even if medjo malayo na siya sa pinaggalingan niya kasi the place is a minefield. One wrong move and all of the attention is on you.

Finally, nakalabas narin siya. Hindi niya alam kung saan siya tutungo; sa kaliwa ba o sa kanan. But she followed her instincts and went left.

She keeps on walking endlessly and all she can see is a road and a lamp post. Hindi niya alam kung anung oras na at yung smartwatch ay hindi niya alam kung paano ito I’open. It was not you’re typical smartwatch.

Pagkaraan ng ilang minuto ay may dumaang sasakyan. Pero parang hindi siya yung tipong sasakyan na makikita mo sa kalsada. It was very 2050 kind of car. A futuristic style. Alam niya na sinisimulan na itong gawin pero she never thought na it was up and running on the streets. 

A few seconds passed and something flew above her head. She was shocked at what it was; it was a flying car. A FLYING CAR. Flying cars never existed, only in sci-fi movies. That’s what she thought and from afar she can see a huge upright infinity sign. It was glowing. Dahil she has a curios personality, gusto niya itong makita ng malapitan. 

Hindi siya gaanong nakalapit dito pero dahil sa laki nito ay nakikita parin niya ito and it was a building. A INFINITY SIGN BULDING. She never heard of or read about an infinity sign building being constructed pero how in the world did they make such a very difficult building looks so effortlessly done.  The engineers must be very talented.

After seeing a sight, ngayon lang siya nakaramdam ng lamig. She never thought a summer night would be this cold and she’s just wearing a plain blue worn-out tshirt. Dahil sa ginaw ay na nginginig ang kanyang mga kamay, sinusubokan niya itong hipan pero walang epekto. She can feel that any moment her body will shut down on its own. Nahihirapan din siyang huminga. Pinagpatuloy parin niya ang paglalakad nagbabakasakaling may makasalubong at mahingian niya ng tulong pero wala. Ni anino wala siyang makita.

Tumigil siya sa isang poste ng ilaw. Hinawakan niya ito ng maiigi. Supporting her weight with the lamp post ay pinipilit niyang tumayo ng tuwid pero ng dahil sa lamig at sa panginginig ng kanyang mga tuhod ay hindi niya ito magawa. She was desperately trying to find someone; someone to find her but no one is around.

“Plea…se som…eone he…lp me.”
