"Mummy, I'm full," Jay said, pushing his half empty plate towards me.

"Okay sweetie, go join Lucille," I said, taking his plate and eating the leftovers.

Then I cleaned up the place while humming a little tune.

I was still surprised that Samantha had not yet do one of her witchy things on me yet.

"So look who's back," I heard a familiar annoying voice.

Turning around, I faced Lana.

Lana was very pretty with her shoulder length, wavy blonde hair. Her bright blue eyes and her small button nose.

But like they often say, the pretty one are usually the devil in disguise.

Lana and I have never gotten along, so I'm not surprised she still hates me after so long.

"Blame your Alpha for dragging me back here, but I will be leaving this dump hole soon," I said, finishing cleaning up the last plate.

"No one's leaving here." I heard Brock's voice say.

Lana left the room swaying her hips seductively at Brock, but I couldn't careless.

She could walk around naked for all I care.

"Well I guess we're done here."

I was about to walk past him, when he grabbed my hand and pulled me into his chest.

"If you leave me again, I will find your ass once more and drag you back here."

He looked directly into my eyes as he spoke.

"Well maybe that's exactly what will happen," I smirked.

I tried pulling myself out of his hold a little bit, but he tightened his grip.

"I'm serious Amahle." He looked so sad, but I just didn't care anymore.

"And so I'm I."

He looked at me for a second longer before letting me go.

"You will be mine again." His voice was full of determination.

"I was never yours, Brock Knight." With that, I exited the kitchen.

He had his chance and he blew it, besides I'm currently in a relationship.

I went into the living room to see Jay talking to one of the pack members, while Lucille was focused on the TV.

"Where's mommy's little man?" I asked smiling.

Immediately Jay's head turned towards me.

"Mom, look! I have a new friend," he pulled me towards the man.

"Long time no see Amahle," he chuckled.

"How's it been, Alex."

He got up, before pulling me into a bone crushing hug.

"I thought I would never see you again. Do you know how lonely I have been here without my best friend?!"

"Can't. Breathe," I managed to say.

He quickly let me go.

"You know him?" Jay asked, looking at us curiously.

"Meet mommy's best friend." A large smile made its way to my face as Jay's face lit up.

"Why don't my little man get to know my best friend?" I suggested, as I went to trouble Lucille.

"Who's mommy's little angel?" I asked, placing my hands over her eyes.

"I'm trying to watch TV," she whined, removing my hands from her eyes.

"Why do you have to be no fun?" I mimicked her.

"Sshh." She turned the volume up.

"Looks like someone's grumpy today," I laughed.

"Not as grumpy as someone else will be when they find out where we are," she smirked, looking at me.

That evil little child. Taking after her father.
