Sarah's POV.

I was sitting on the couch, a bowl of cheerios in my hand, I was munching on them while watching TV. Mom was in the kitchen, making herself some coffee. I started changing channels and ended up on the news channel. They were talking about financial business and I wasn't paying much attention until, I heard something.

" The CEO of Carter & co, Alex Carter, has earned the award for the CEO of the year and another award for his continuous profit in his business"

I kept on listening to the reporter, and then they showed a photo of Alex who was standing with a woman, I felt like I've seen her somewhere before, I looked closely and tried to remember.

That girl in the church!

She was the girl I met! But does she know Alex? Does Alex know her? Questions started flooding mind, what is she's his ex girlfriend? Wait! Why am I worrying if she is his ex girlfriend? But maybe she might just be a friend or a relative. Her name was Anna, I remember her.

My mom came back from the kitchen, a coffee mug in her hand, she was already dressed and ready to leave but my moms day doesn't start without a cup of coffee, while me on the other hand I run completely on my own energy, Nutella and pizza. It's my life! And there's nothing better than a box of pizza and a bottle of Nutella. Thousands of people would agree with me if I told them this. Wouldn't they?

"Okay honey I'm gonna leave now" mom said as she sipped on her coffee and glanced at her wrist watch.

"The food is in the microwave, alright and I'll come back at 6 so don't worry" she said as she went back in the kitchen.

"Okay!" I said as I gulped down the milk left in my bowl.

Mom came back and pecked me on the forehead, "Love you." she said.

"Love you too, go safely" I smiled and said as I got up from the couch, the bowl still in my hand.

Mom smiled, grabbed her bag and files and left through the front door. I locked the door and then sighed. I seriously think that I should find another job, my mom goes out and works so hard everyday, she's been doing that since I was born and now when I have to work I'm making My mom work. I have to search for some jobs. I have a degree so maybe I'll be able to get a job easily.

I know you might be thinking if I have a degree then why do I work as a waitress, it's because whenever I go to an interview either the boss is a jerk or a pervert, and when I get a job, I make mistakes, and when I say mistakes I mean thousands of mistakes.

I remember when I was working as a receptionist in a hotel, I mixed up everyone's names and gave the wrong keys and stuff, my boss got really angry because she specifically said to me that she would not allow any mistakes, well she should have thought at first when she gave me the job and check if I was capable or not.

I'm not capable. I'm an idiot.

I went upstairs and came back downstairs with my laptop. I sat back on the couch and searched for jobs. One hour later and I couldn't find any job that would be suitable for me. I suck at everything! Why am I even a human I should have been a monkey and stayed in the jungle munching on bananas!

The door bell rang, I went over to the front door and opened it.

Anna.

Anna stood in front of me in a beautiful pink dress that reached her knees. She smiled at me while I stared at her like a psycho. I furrowed my brows.

"Anna? W-what are you doing here? And how did you know that I lived here" I asked her in clear shock. My shock was more than an electric shock. Yeah right now maybe every single person in this city is gonna come to my house and say that their my new neighbor.

"Since you have finally met my brother, I thought that I'll introduce myself properly" she said as she made her way inside my house while looking around.

She made her way to the couch and sat down elegantly. I walked up to her and sat beside her on the couch. She placed her hands gently on her thighs and smiled at me. I gave her a small smile.

"I'm the sister of Alex carter, Anna carter, nice to meet you Sarah I hope that we can be great friends." She said as she flashed a smile. My eyes widened, what was I thinking she isn't his girlfriend, she's his sister! I swear I'm an idiot.

"Nice to meet you too Anna" I said and smiled genuinely at her. The door bell rang again, I was about to get up but Anna got up first.

"I'll get it" she said as she got up and walked to the door. She opened it.

"Where have you two been? I told you to come here as soon as possible" Anna said. I got up from the couch and walked up to her, in front of her stood two twins.

They had the same eyes as Alex, in fact even Anna had the same eye color. One wore a pair of ripped jeans with a blue t-shirt and the other wore tracks with a red full sleeve shirt. Both of them looked same, as they saw me they grinned and then suddenly I was tackled to the ground. I groaned as the two boys hugged me tight.

"Hey! What are you two doing? Get up! you're gonna hug her until her lungs are out of breath you two morons!" Anna said and she pulled one of the boys by the collar of his shirt.

After some minutes that felt like months that finally pulled out. I gasped for air, as I got up and held my throat. "Are you two crazy? You almost had me dead!" I said as I did deep breathing.

"Sorry, I'm Arthur this is Andrew" the guy in the red shirt said. I nodded and smiled at the both of them.

"Bro has told us so much about you, we couldn't wait to meet you" Andrew said. I can't believe this that I'm finally meeting Alex's family.

"Do you wanna come in?" I asked but they shook their heads. I frowned.

"We're here to take you, mom and dad want to meet you" Anna said as she crossed her arms.

"What! But I'm not dressed properly and what would they think of me?-" they all cut me off in unison.

"That doesn't matter we have to get going!" They said and pulled me with them.

"Where are we going?" I asked Anna.

"We're going back home"
