The following morning was a hectic one.
Narutos birthday was this weekend and all the staff was running through the house, making it party-ready.
Some of Narutos old friends and some far family members would come here this weekend to celebrate.

When Sasuke finally made his way through the swarm of humans running around and down the stairs, he sat down next to Naruto for breakfast.
Naruto was wearing a blue turtle neck and a black jeans.
His usual orange nowhere to be seen.

"yo Naruto, where's the orange"

Naruto pointed at the laundry washer in the kitchen.

They then started eating breakfast in a somehow very awkward silence.
Sasuke was the cause of it.

As Naruto stuffed a muffin in his mouth, Sasuke cleared his throat.
Naruto looked at him with the kindest smile he could manage with a stuffed mouth.

"I Eh..... I heard you Eh... Playing last night" he slowly spoke.
Narutos eyes widened and out of shock spit out the muffin.

How much did you hear   he quickly signed.
"...... I heard everything."
Naruto slammed his face into the table and groaned.
"so fast... " the blonde mumbled.

" why didn't you tell me you could talk" Sasukse asked.
"I don't like talking" the blonde mumbled, still face down on the table.
"why not"
The blonde stood up and walked away, into his room, door locked.

Then a certain redhead walked in.
"why's my brother sad, do I need to break someone's face?" Kurama said.
"n-no, no need for violence" Sasuke said.
" I accidentally caught him singing, that's all"
Kurama looked at him with wide eyes.
"you're joking..."
Sasuke shook his head no.
Then Kurama turned around and ran out again, after Naruto.

Sasuke just sat there, alone, and continued breakfast.

After a little while the blonde and the redhead walked back in and sat down.
Kurama started talking.
"you can't tell anyone, got it? I will break your face."
Sasuke nodded.
"good, now you two children go to school, it's Friday today and after school you two can play again." Kurama said.

"hmpf... What am I, 5" Naruto murmured and walked out of the door.
Kurama looked quite amused at this.
Sasuke quickly ran after Naruto and they went to school together in silence.
