How? Just how. (Chapter Three)

Liza's POV:
I woke up embraced in David's arms for the second morning in a row. There was bright lights and the smell of hospital germ-x. What has happened? I sit up in the hospital bed to see David hooked up to several machines. It all comes flooding back to my memory. David. Spiked. Almost dead. I started crying. I layed my head into his chest. He woke up.

"Hey babe. What's wrong?"

"I just hate seeing you this way David."

"I'm fine. As long as I'm alive and feeling well."

"Alive." I'm mumbled under my breath.

"What was that?"

"Nothing. I'm just happy your alive. You could have died." David was my heart and soul. I only met him last night. I already made love with him, made an overnight hospital visit with him, and pleaded my love to him. I feel guilty. I don't know why. I honestly did not drug him or hurt him. I love David. Who did though?

David's POV:

My train of thought was interrupted by the doctor and two male police officers.

"Mr. Dobrik? We have news on the case about who drugged you as it is illegal in the state of California." said 'Sergeant Waters'. His name was ingraved on his name tag.

"Really?! Will you allow my girlfriend, Liza Koshy and best friend, Gabbie Hanna in."

"About that. I can allow Liza in but not Gabbie." said Waters.

"Why? She is my friend." I pleaded.

"Sir." Another police officer stepped in and started talking. "I must let you know that Gabbie Hanna is the prime suspect of your drug allegations."

"No! Let Liza in." I said distraught and confused.

The doctor opened the door and called for Liza. Liza swiftly hurried in.

"David, Gabbie is in handcuffs and is crying. She won't tell me what she did!" said Liza.

"Babe, she is the one who drugged me." I told her.

We hear screaming. Liza runs out of the hospital room. She starts screaming. I ripped all of the cords out of my arm and seen Liza punching Gabbie. I broke the fight up. Gabbie was helpless and couldn't fight back.

"LIZA! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? In front of two police officers and the whole hospital waiting room?" I looked towards Waters. "Please tell me she won't be arrested too. I can't lose another friend."

"As long as Ms. Hanna doesn't press charges, everything will be alright!" said Waters.

"Gabbie? Please don't press charges. You have already ruined my life and destroyed Liza's day." I pleaded with Gabbie.

"How David? I don't even remember doing it." Gabbie stated.

"Ms. Hanna there is video proof evidence of your crime." said the other officer.

"No.. then.. NO! I won't press charges. I don't want to hurt David more than I already have." Gabbie said crying.

"Take her off, officers!" Liza demanded.

I started crying. How? Why would Gabbie do this to me? She couldn't of done this in the right state of mind. Wait! She was drunk last night.

The doctor led me back to my hospital room and told me to sit. I was calm. Actually, no. I wasn't calm. My blood was as hot as the sun, but my face was as white as the clouds.

"Mr. Dobrik. What you just did with those cords and these machines was very dangerous! You cannot ever do that again." He said. He started examining my inner elbows and wrist to make sure that the needles didn't cut me. "Mr. Dobrik I am now releasing you from the hospital!"

"Really? Yay!" I stated. My tears dried. "LIZA! LIZA KOSHY!"

"What? What is it? Are you okay?" she said worried.

"I have been released. I can go home baby!"

"Yes!" She cried into my chest.

"I will go sign your paperwork. Congrats Mr. Dobrik!" the doctor said.

Liza guided me up off the bed, grabbed my keys, and her wallet. She gave me a quick but passionate kiss.

"Let's go baby!"

2 hours later.

Liza drove us to her place. She lives by herself unlike me.

"I love you Dobrik."

"I love you Koshy."

I started watching tv. I looked over because I felt that someone was watching me. Liza turned her head fast and started smiling. Oh, Elizabeth Koshy.

I know that this was a short chapter but I have been sick the last few days. I will post a way longer chapter later tonight. Keep slaying as always babies!
