Hush little girl,
don't utter a word,
don't share your story,
the pages they're all blurred.

Hush little girl,
try not to cry,
they'll start asking questions,
they'll start asking why.

Hush little girl,
I've got you right here,
you will always be safe,
as long as I'm near.

Hush little girl,
I know you miss your mother
but isn't it all better,
right here at the altar?

Hush little girl,
it might seem scary
but trust me,
my dear baby.

Hush little girl,
you're all grown up now,
so be a good girl
and say your vow.

Hush little girl,
I swear you''ll be happy,
soon you'll be laughing,
standing right next to me.

Hush little girl,
please try and abide,
it'll soon be better,
won't you be a good bride?

Yeah, I write depressing stuff I know. I hope most of you understood what the poem was about, child marriage/exploitation. It's a horrible thing to happen but I know in some places, this is still common practice and it truly breaks my heart.
