"I don't understand why I'm here." Chris said as he walks with us in the mall. So far, we've shopped for clothes, perfumes and some cosmetics. Jen seems to be on something because she can't stop herself from buying things.

"Jen, no you've already bought a blush." I stop her.

"But, it's –"

"NO!" I scold her.

I turn to Chris and smile. "You're here because you wanted to explore the place."

"Explore doesn't mean roaming in a mall with two ladies who can't chill."

I laugh. It has been a while since we went out and it's nice to have Jen's company when she's in a good mood but at the back of my head I'm thinking about last night.

The place is crowded, probably because it's a Sunday. People love Sunday. The day has a magic that everyone wants to be a part of.

The lady selling the blush is glowing and is continuously staring at the guy on the cash counter. She didn't realized that a customer is there for her. She's bought back to reality when the customer snaps at her. The small hickey on her neck answered all my questions about her. I notice another one near her collar and from the look of the guys face, he's trying to ignore her. He's literally standing there, having nothing to do and yet he chose to keep himself busy rather than worrying about the woman.

"I like how you zoom out." Chris said.

"I didn't zoom out."I mutter and walk a little faster.

"Sure you did. You like it, zooming out and imagining a story."

"Chris stop it."

My phone starts ringing and it's Niall. It's the 100th time he has called today.

"yeah, Niall."

"You're voice is getting harsh."

"Speak."

"So, we're done. You can get her now."

"Thank god, finally. I'm bringing her now." He took way too much time to decorate Jen's room.

"Okay."

"Bye."

I turn around to see Jen looking at some of the nail polishes and Chris staring at someone's burger. Chris looks at me and raise his eyebrows, asking if everything is done and I nod. He smiles and turn to Jen.

"I think I left the stove on."

"WHAT?" Jen stopped everything and stare at him.

"Yeah, oh god we have to go to your place like right now." He said and starts running along with us.

I try not to laugh at his stupidity, but it's a great idea, I have to give points to him.

"It's gonna be great." He whispers to me.

Chris and I are similar in so many ways, it's so uncanny. I feel like a weird connection between us that I don't usually feel. I'm never this comfortable with someone so easily. Maybe it's all him, he's social and knows how to make people comfortable around him.

This morning when Jen and I were about to leave, he made a sad face and asked if he could join because he's tired of staying at his apartment and wanted to go out and explore which I'm sure is the worst decision he has made yet.

I haven't told Niall that he's coming too but I guess one extra guy won't make a different. I hope everything goes well. I know how nervous Niall was about her birthday because he really likes her. He went to her apartment last night, wished her and left.
