Chapter 14:

"Who is it?" asked a nervous Hope who was now rubbing her hands together. She was now really scared.

However, Hope didn't have to worry because she heard a friendly female voice say, "It's just me." Hope breathed a sigh of relief & let Maya inside. Both ladies embraced.

"Are you looking for Rick?" asked Hope. "No, Rick's at a meeting with Eric & Ridge," said Maya who sounded worried. "You think they're yelling at each other again?" asked Hope who remembered the last meeting the three men had.

Ridge had walked out in a rage after Eric had decided to support Rick in his decision to have his ex-wife Caroline work with Thomas on the Taboo line, a line Ridge didn't want to see brought back due to past issues.

"I hope they're not because I don't want to see Rick get all stressed out again," said Maya who also remembered that meeting. "I know what you mean. Rick is not a nice guy when he's stressed out," said Hope.

Both ladies then went to his desk where Hope showed Maya Quinn's beautiful designs.

Meanwhile, Wyatt was headed to Forrester Creations himself. After making an appointment with Rick's real estate agent friend, he had gotten a call from Eric Forrester asking him to stop by.

"I wonder what it's all about," Wyatt thought to himself as he drove to the massive country-style estate that housed Forrester Creations.

However, another thought entered his mind.

Wyatt knew that Liam still came & went as he pleased there so that didn't make him happy. Just the thought of bumping into his dumb brother pissed him off.

Still, whatever Eric Forrester wanted to talk to Wyatt about, he knew that he had to put the negative thoughts he was having out of his mind & focus on the business at hand.

Wyatt walked in & was greeted by a smiling Pam.

"Hello there, Wyatt. Here to see Eric?" she asked. "Yes, ma'am," he said with a smile. "Well, he's ready to see you," she said. "Thanks. I'll stop by here after my meeting for a lemon bar. Is that OK?" asked Wyatt who liked Pam's lemon bars & had had one on a couple of occasions.

"Absolutely! I'll have one ready for you. Good luck, Wyatt," said a grinning Pam. Wyatt thanked her & went straight to Eric's office.

Wyatt was greeted by Eric & a smiling Rick, whose meeting with Ridge had ended about 30 minutes before Wyatt got there. The meeting then got started.

Meanwhile, Liam was exiting Ridge's office feeling like crap. Ridge had told Liam that if his father Bill kept up his vendetta via the media against the Forresters that there would be a lawsuit coming, & Liam wasn't happy to hear about it.

As he walked past Eric's office, Liam found himself now dead in his tracks as he heard Wyatt speaking. That made him angry.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Liam thought as he listened in.

He was about to find out.
