one

i was woken up by the hot sun hitting through my face

i groaned and checked what time it is. 6:33 am

"another day to survive," i whispered to myself and got up to take some shower

i started stripping off my night clothes and let the warm water hit my skin

after the shower, i grabbed my black leggings and grey sweater. then got off downstairs

"HEY!" dad shouted as soon as i placed a foot on the living room, causing me to jump "come here you brat!"

i pursed my lips and went to him, he was at the sofa, lying with dozens of beer around him

"hey," he repeated, this time, a little lower than the first "HEY!" he started shouting again, i backed off a little. "answer me when i speak, brat!"

"yes sir," i said, almost all to myself

"get me more beer," he commanded

"you had too much already, it's bad for you dad-"

i got cut off by my father's fist having contact to my face

i fell at the floor, blood dripping from my lips

he pulled my sweater, causing me to stand up. "look at me!" i shouted to my face, his saliva hitting my face

"dad, please stop," i choked on my words, sobbing

"when i ask you to do something, fucking follow it. hard headed bitch!" he, again, shouted at my face

"yes, sir," i whispered, not sure if he heard it

he let go of me, and i started breathing in and out, trying to catch my breath

"get me more beer at the store!" he exclaimed, causing me to jump a little

i nodded and went outside
