And when the water from my eyes flows down my cheeks
It leaves a lasting mark outside, inside
When you told me I would find someone else to love
It left a lasting mark inside, outside
So when you see me now, my old skin shedding off in sickening flakes
And red corrosion corrupting my beautiful steel innocence
Know that although I may be changing because of your rejection to care for me
It's only a product of maturity.
