Chapter 5

I've been ignoring Kane for the past two days .
Literally trying to cut through corners I know he would never go through.
He's also been blowing up my phone and I blocked him and he continues to call from different numbers
As for my face my swelling went down I've been wearing makeup but no one has questioned me because they usually see me wear makeup on a regular basis
Emily is very concerned for me after I told her what kane had done to me
She's been helping me hide
I walk up my block and walk up my driveway to see something on my doorstep
It was flowers
With a card attached, I grabbed the card and flowers

"My hearts been aching not speaking to you, I am truly sorry princess , love Kane"

I walked back to the end of my driveway opened my trash can and dropped the flowers in there and walked into my home
I walked into the kitchen and heated up food from last night
When the microwave finished beeping I grabbed my food
I went upstairs to my room and sat on my bed while scrolling through my phone and watching pretty little liars
A random number text me
"Hey"
I'm very curious as to who this is but I know for a fact this is kane
"Who's this "
"Kane please hear me out "
"Bye and remove my number. Do not text or call me again"
And with that I blocked his number I will never let a man raise their hand on me
I finished my food and got tired I took a nap

I woke up and it was only like 5 pm I decided to go find something to do so I grabbed my car keys and as i opened my door I see a man
But I know I've seen him from somewhere

Then it hits me it's one of Kane's friend from that night in the car ... what the hell is he doing here

"Oh Nina hey..."

"Hi. What are you doing here exactly"

"I'm just here to tell you to hear kane out he's extremely sorry "

"I don't give a fuck what he has to say he laid his hands on me and didn't even feel sorry when he left me on the road !"
I yell at him

"I know he has anger issues he saw you with a boy and wanted to kill him please"

"I don't have time for this "
I say as I walk to my car and the guy follows after me

"Wait let's talk about this over dinner "

"Dinner??"

"Yes dinner please it will be my pleasure I would like to hear your side of the story "

His facial expression shows no expression at all this guy is rock solid and seems rude but is acting nice to me at the moment

"Fine"

And he guided me to his car and opened the door .
We drove to a nice restaurant and the waiter took us immediately even though there was a long line
We walked over to a section towards the back but to the point we were still near others
I sat down and he sat in front of me
The waiter came to us and asked us what would we like to drink

"Sprite please " I say with a smile

"Champagne "
She nods and walks away

We chatted then our drinks arrived

I sipped and he finished his which I thought was way to fast he tells me he will be back in a second and gets up and leaves

I sit patiently waiting while on my phone then I hear foot steps

"What took you so long I was beginning to think..." I stopped as I looked up to see a teddy bear and flowers .
I had no words I was in awww until I saw kane face holding the flowers and teddy bear
I got up and he grabbed my arm gently

"Do not touch me ! You do not get to touch me !"
I say with me face extremely red with anger

"Please princess listen to me , sit "

I continue to stand as he sits and looks up at me as he places the gifts on my side of the table

I took a seat after
He just stares at me as if he is admiring my body
I mean I did look nice even though this wasn't planned so it wasn't like I looked like a bum lol

"Nina "
I just look at my phone
"Nina will you put the phone down "
I put my phone down in my lap and look up as if he has my full attention

"I know your upset with me I just want to say sorry I let my temper get the best of me when I shouldn't have. I just got so angry seeing you speak to that boy and then on top of that you were ignoring me when I tried to contact you , I don't want anyone looking at what's mines you really don't know Nina but I would really kill for you and I say this with the most serious face because I couldn't be making this up I will beat ... no I mean kill any man or women who tries and separate us I don't care if you have your little attitude and want to not speak to me but if you think for a second we are over you've clearly mistaking my love"

I was trying to process everything he had just said 1. He never asked me to be his girlfriend. 2. Just because he is in the mafia doesn't mean that he can boss me around. 3. He scares the fuck outta me this man is seriously dangerous idk what I've got myself into

"I've been trying to keep myself busy to not work myself up about you cause I know I will go crazy so I have and now that I finished business my mind is back on you and I'm not leaving here until I know you forgive me"

"Say something Nina"

"Why won't you just leave me alone I want nothing to do with you "

He she as he pulls out a gun I instantly freeze

"You see baby outside this restaurant I have most of my man waiting and I have some in here and you just can't tell because they are dressed casually if you even think about running this won't be good for you I tried doing this the nice way and get your forgiveness but I see you like things done roughly since you can't listen "

He signals for the waiter to come over

"Yes to go plates please I will be outside bring it to me "
And the waiter nods and takes the food
Kane gets up while grabbing me alone
"Lets go "
We get outside and into his car he doesn't start it he just locks the doors

"Now that we are in private "

"I forgive you" I say in a rush so a repeat of what happens last time doesn't happen again
"Good girl baby "
He says while kissing my forehead he starts the car and drives off I sit towards the window side I don't want to be near him
And the red light he takes out his phone and takes pictures of me with the flash

"Your so beautiful I need pictures of you on my phone,  cause I already have all the ones on your phone "

"Excuse me "

"Yes princess I have your phone tapped everything you do comes to my phone, I'm the leader of the mafia there isn't anything I can't do "
He turns around giving me a kiss on the lips " I can't wait till we get home and finish our date princess " he says while driving to his house
