Chapter 13

Walking into their home was amazing. Everything was beautiful I guess this was one of there main houses. Because I know I have over heard Kane speaking of owning several house but my goodness this one is breathtaking.
I walked into the living room and stood as Roberto sat down
"Have a seat love"
"Okay thanks" I say while sitting

Kane finally put his phone away and walked in with a glass of scotch in his hands

"Mamma is probably waiting on our call. I will have to arrange for us to visit her soon or else she won't stop calling "
He says while walking over to the chair and having a seat

"Sweetheart why don't you go roam around and enjoy the place I have to talk business with my brother and men. Don't come back until I say so"

I got up and began to walk away
"okay"
I walked out the door and began to hear chatter as I left.
I walked around the kitchen and my lord this was a beautiful kitchen across from it was the backyard and it was very big and spacious I guess Roberto and Kane live here together with others because this house is just way to big for the two of them .
I walked to the door and the guard stopped me
"Excuse me did the boss say you were aloud out?"
"Ummmmmm I don't know I didn't think I needed to ask him "
He then crossed his arms in front of one another and said
"well I'm strictly under the boss rules to not let you out of my sight I guard the back door and there's another guy in the front and side but you can go anywhere in the house "

"Okay then"
I slowly backed away from this awkward situation and walked in the other direction
I went up the steps and onto the first floor
Which seemed to be simple I walked around and peeked through which ever door seemed open I didn't want to open any door that wasn't already open
After finishing with the first floor I went over to the second but there wasn't much that interest me but I went up to the third floor and seen all the doors closed and locked which I didn't want to open without permission so I went all the way back downstairs and went into the dining room and looked at all the family photos that hung around here and there. I went back to the living room and stopped trying to see if I should open the door even though  Kane said to not come back and I would like to go enjoy myself in the back but he's being so hard headed so I went closer to the door and heard yelling sounded like Kane
I tried to get closer but the man standing in front of the door was not letting me near the door enough for me to hear

"I would like to speak with Kane please "

"I'm sorry but he is busy at the moment "

"Yes I know but I want to speak to him so he needs to excuse his conversation for a minute and listen to me "

"I can't interrupt the boss in the middle of a meeting "

"Why not "

"Because I can't we have strict rules to follow "

"What rules ? From who? "

"The boss "

I rolled my eyes this is getting annoying

"If you don't let me in I will scream and Kane will think you have done something to me "
He began to think and then pressed his Bluetooth in his ear and spoke in Italian I waited a moment and heard the door open and out walked kane
I tried peeking inside to see what was going on but he quickly shut the door after

"Yes princess I heard you needed something, is this urgent ?"

"Yes, I would like to go outside I'm done exploring the house and they won't let me leave "

"Good that means they are doing there job and how can you be done exploring with how big this place is "

"Because I didn't explore every inch I didn't go into the rooms that had their door closed "

"Okay princess what would you like me to do for you"
"I would like you to let me outside . You can't bring me here and let me be bored "

"Last time I checked you were the one who wanted to come babe"

"Yes I know but that was before I knew your work like of meetings were this boring "

"Well I can't let you be there while I'm in my meetings"

"Why not "

"Because princess you know I don't want you involved "

"Please I won't say anything I will just be quiet. I'm just really bored out here all alone, or you can leave your meeting and come hang out with me . Pick one "

"Ahhhhhh the princess giving  me orders now i see . If you were anyone else I would've killed you this instant this is a sign of disrespect but because it's you I don't mind I like you giving me orders"

"But I guess I can finish this meeting later than because you come before all of this give me one moment" he says while walking back into the room

7 minutes later he walked back out and said "lets go princess "

"Where are we going "

"Let's take a walk out back since the sun is going down"
We walked outside and he held my hand and kissed it

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting "

We walked along the pond together

"Are you hungry ?"
He asked I shook my head no

"What were you guys speaking about in there?"

"Nothing that pertains to you princess "

"So is this your main home?" I asked

"Yes this is the family home "

"Oh this house is lovely "

"I know princess soon you will be living here Also"

"I beg your pardon? "

"What? The other house is just like one of my getaway homes I haven't actually bought a house for myself personally that's what your here for"
"Oh "

"Are you nervous princess "

"No I'm just worried about the lives of others "

"Why do you say that "

"I know you hurt people not just hurt but kill..."

"Princess stop right there don't go any further don't speak on my business I said I do not want you involved "
