The Next Day

Shoni: Wake up!!

Me: What time is it?

Shoni: Its 12:30pm

Me: Oh my god!

Shoni: Hurry up and brush your teeth and wash your face! I'll give you some of my clothes.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face. When I went back to Shoni, she handed me a green, yellow, and silver plaid button up shirt. She also handed me a yellow pair of shorts.

Shoni flat ironed my hair, and I wore a silver head band. When she was done with my hair it was 1:30.

I checked my phone for any calls from Shaun. I got a message from him.

Shaun: Hey what's your address?

Me: I'm at Shoni's house. This is the address 8766 Riverside Road. (Made up)

Shaun: Cool

While I waited for Shaun, I grabbed a banana and watched Spongebob.

Whenthe episode of Spongebob was over, Shoni came down and sat next to me.

Shoni: What time did he say he was coming?

Me: 2:00

Shoni: Its two now.

Knock Knock Knock

Shoni: That must be him.

Shoni got up and opened the door. I put my green Nike Blazers on while they were talking.

Shaun: Hey you must be Shoni!

Shoni: Yeah. And you're Shaun?

Shaun: Yupp.

Shoni: Well Yani will be here in *gets cut off

Me: I'm here!

Shaun: Cool.

Shoni: Well don't stay out too late!

Me: Ok mom!

Shoni: Whatever. Have fun you guys. Nice meeting you Shaun.

Shaun: Nice meeting you too.

Me: So where are we going?

Shaun: Let's go get some food first.

Me: Ok.

We went to Ihop (My favorite place to go) then, we went to the movies and saw Think Like A Man. It was hilarious. After that we went to the park. It was 5:30. I got a text from Trey.

Trey: Where are you?!?! Momma is over here worried bout you!!

Me: I'm out with a friend. Tell them I'll be there by 9 tonight.

Trey: Ok. Next time tell me where you are before you go places!

Me: LOL. Ok I'll keep that in mind next time.

When we got to the park there was nobody there. We went straight to the swings.

Shaun: So tell me bout yourself.

Me: Well, what do you wanna know?

Shaun: What's your favorite color?

Me: Blue.

Shaun: Mine is the same.

Me: What's your favorite subject in school?

Shaun: Lunch.

Me: Hahaha. I like reading.

Shaun: I like math. Do you like music?

Me: Music is my life!! I love music.

Shaun: I'm the same way.

Me: What kind of music is your favorite?

Shaun: Rap.

Me: Cool I like pop and R&B. I kinda like rap.

Shaun: Who's your favorite artist?

Me: Nicki Minaj. She's cool.

Shaun: Yeah. She's cool.

We stayed there for like two hours talking and playing with these two little kids who came by. They were so cute. At seven, Shaun took me by Shoni's house so I could get my clothes and he took me to my house.

Before we got out of the car we stopped and talked.

Shaun: I had fun with you today. Think we can do this again soon?

Me: I had a good time too and I hope we can hang out again.

Then, he kissed me on the cheek. When he kissed me it felt like a huge rush of energy came through my body. It was awesome!! He could tell I was shocked. He smiled and and I smiled.

Me: Umm... Well. I'll text you later.

Shaun: Aiight. Love you.

He winked.... I died a little when he did.

Me: Love you too.

I walked in the house and my parents were mad...

I didn't care. I was happy!!!
