I was 13 and lived in a snobby neighborhood called The Angels Heights. We were new and had been invited to a "Welcoming" party just for us, I was a weird girl, looking perfectly normal on the outside with long blonde hair bright blue eyes and a pretty, straight toothed smile, but inside my head were the thoughts of after school I would watch a new horror film or write a new creepy book, or if I didn't want to do that I would pull out my huge supplies of SFX makeup and do some zombie stuff with my face. My parents would rather spend time with a glass of wine and the T.V set then have anything to do with their strange daughter, I was what they didn't want in their life. After long arguments with my mom on some nights the one thing I memorized that she said a lot now was, "Samantha Taylor, if you were normal maybe I would spend more time with you!" Pretty harsh right? Well I was strange, in a way I was sorta like my parents, I would rather spend time with my SFX makeup then them.
I was getting ready for that party, putting on a long beautiful blue dress with sparkly earring to match. I hurried down the stairs with some lightly applied makeup on my face and a fake smile sitting on my lips I let the butler open the door for me and ran out to the limo. For the party it was required that my parents went in one limo and I went in another, there would be a red carpet there when we pulled up and there were photographers coming to take loads of snapshots for the weekly top richest. I was required to go with a young boy a year older then me named Nathan, very attractive and tall and nice to me since he liked me but a brat to anyone he had a attitude against. We pulled up at Nathan's house only a couple blocks away from the party, he got in the limo next to me and said hello, he was wearing a now tuxedo and his hair was styled and gelled.
"It is suppose to be a great turnout tonight which means lots of cameras so fix your hair and makeup and get ready to get out of the limo." Nathan said still smiling. I did as he said and quite fast we pulled up to the huge mansion where the party was at and I looked at the red carpet awaiting for me that streamed up towards the front doors, the limo driver came around the side and opened the door. Then I put my smile back on and Nathan got out first then I did. There were the golden strings the served as small barriers between the red carpet and the paparazzi, like Nathan said there were hundreds of paparazzi and I was the one they wanted pics of because of my new by self. I hooked my arm with Nathan and we slowly walked down the carpet, stopping every once and a while to do some poses, eventually we reached the inside doors and I was greeted by lots of adults, I talked to them and answered their questions politely, slowly and unnoticeably drifting away. I walked towards the bathroom doors and stop next to them whispering to myself, "Does anyone know a killer cause a really need one right now." I laugh to myself and walk up to a random man, I know if my parents saw me do this I would die but they were across the room so it was okay, "Excuse me sir." I say and lightly tap on his shoulder, he turns and smiles, "Are you a killer cause I need to die to et out of here." I say and laugh slightly,
"Actually yes." He says, I laugh and play along but when I face him again his fave is totally serious and I see he small glint of a knife in his pocket.
