That one house

You know that house in all movies, the one that every kid in the neighborhood knows about and tells you to steer clear of? The house that is a big dark Victorian with shingles falling off and cracked windows. The furniture has dust piled on top of it and there's always a old grand piano on the living room where the keys used to be played and each note sounded like Beethoven playing a symphony. It was the house that everyone stayed away from, where people said they saw shadows in the windows and heard voices on the other sides of the door.

That house was the house I was moving into. The last owners (60 years ago) had kept the old Victorian era furniture and the landlord put it up on Zillow, hoping maybe someone would be looking for a fixer upper. Sadly (for me) that's just what my dad wanted, a fixer upper to spend his summer vacation on. He was a lawyer and just won a huge case a month ago, our beautiful house had been up on the market for a few weeks after we bought this one, and we just got a buyer yesterday.

I had been living in this dump for over a week and the smell drove me mad, my dad said it was just a dead animal that had died in the walls and he would take care of it. But I got sick of it at night, the smell got worse and my dog didn't like it much either, usually I would put him in the dog shed at night so he didn't have to deal with it. Most nights I would lay awake staring at the ceiling, over all the house wasn't very "cozy". It was almost Halloween too so the house was extra spooky with all the creepy decorations on neighboring houses.

The morning of Halloween I walked down the stairs from my room, letting my feet drag me to the kitchen and grab a cup of coffee. My dad was working on replacing the tile floor in the entry way, and the clunk of the crowbar echoed through the house. The thing is, the house creeped me out so much that I hadn't even explored all of it yet. So I decided to do just that, I grabbed a flashlight since the morning light hadn't fully come up yet and walked down one of the many hallways, after peeking in old rooms that hadn't been cleaned out yet I approached a door at the end of the hall, I was old just like the others but had a big padlock on the handle. Lucky for me whoever locked it must have not cared because the key was laying on the floor a few feet in front of the door. I picked it up and pushed the key into the padlock, slowly it turned and the padlock jumped open. I grabbed the handle and slowly  turned the knob, but stopped. A quite sound was coming from the inside of the room and I listened close. A steady drip, drip, drip. I slowly pulled the door open the rest of the way and crept inside, turning my flashlight on a pointed it in front of me and my heart stopped, my mouth gaped open and a silent scream poured from my mouth. In front of me was-

Mwahahaha, I'm sorry I'm so evil. This one is kind of random but I wrote this on Halloween sooooo....Anyways comment what you think happens next! The person with the best idea gets theirs turned into a part 2!!! Contest starts now!
