“But when will I wake up?” Lynette tried to ask the doctor as he checked (for the millionth time) if she was comfortable and that the wires in her arms and legs were setup right. She didn’t know how she felt other than cold. Being naked in a cocoon chamber wasn’t the warmest thing in the world. “I don’t know, but when the time is right, you will,” that’s all the doctor would said before he closed the chamber. She could already feel the tingling sensation in her legs. She saw her brother through the glass. “Will you be here when I wake up?” she asked him, hoping he could hear. He smiled and said “I’ll never leave your side. I’ll be waiting for you so don’t sleep to long.” She smiled back at him. The sensation was already right below her chest. She started to feel scared but tried not to show it. “I’ll wake up soon so think of another story to tell me when I wake up. I love you big brother.” He laughed but she heard a hint of sadness in his voice. “Love you too sis, Sweet dreams,” those were the last words she hears before the buzz noise made all her senses go numb and she fell into a frozen slumber.
