cause you said that you loved me
and when someone loves somebody
they don't just leave
this isn't goodbye
not even a temporary setback
it's just a story hanging on its unfinished chapter
searching for words it lack
this isn't goodbye
cause goodbye
means never looking back
goodbye
means moving on
and goodbye
means taking a chance at forgetting
so this isn't goodbye
this is just me and you
taking on different paths
knowing we'll cross each other
again
